Listening to IGAB album at work. IGAB seems to go on forever. Really like DQ, XYZ, and Look At Me now. Uggh what has happened to me that made me liking cutesy, saturated in sweetness songs like Baby Maybe? For some reason I felt like I've heard Talk Talk and Romantic St (oh duh, it was the teaser music) before.

Thought this was funny, should just edit it and recycle it for every Soshi album released from now on.

Personally, I felt like it was not impressive at all for having waited 10 months for it. After hearing the teaser and then the full, the disappointment is definite.
SNSD’s first album itself was… I guess their title track [Gee] just can’t appeal to the general public, just like “Into the New World”.
They announced that this “Gee” was meant to specifically target the general public but it’s childish and clumsy. That makes it different from “ITNW”.
Why would they write lyrics like that? The “Gee gee gee gee baby baby” part is nice but it only comes a few times, and . This doesn’t seem like much to show for 10 months’ work. Bbanjjak Bbanjjak just sounds harsh to my ears.
This is worse than “Rock U” and “Pretty Girl”
Even if SNSD have a bad song, they’ll probably sell at least 50,000 albums since they have so many obsessed fans.
From the point of view of someone who thinks “Rock U” was better than “Pretty Girl”, this song is even worse than “Pretty Girl”. Especially when you think about how long they spent preparing this song.
As expected, Wonder Girls songs have a much better feel to them.. this song [Gee] doesn’t have that addictive sound..
It’s a simple difference in concept. JYP keeps innovating and SNSD has nothing but just acting cute.
I really liked how they [E-Tribe] wrote “U-Go-Girl” so why did they screw up SNSD’s song like this?
To be honest, all the songs sound the same.. and the reason behind that is Brave Bothers.. I’m getting sick that repetitiveness in songs..
Maybe it’s because songs these days only want to sound addictive.. I’m already sick of how they endelessly repeat the same words.
They’re just trying too hard to be “The Next Big Thing”

IGAB is kind of all over the place but I think I might like it more live if they use a shorter version.

I hope you don't mind if I use your avatar Phono.

Also, anyone know if there are any other photos of Seobaby from the set luso posted.

So there's a theory out there that explains the jankiness of the song. If you read/listen to the lyrics, the song supposedly contains many perspectives/personalities/characters, hence the weird tempo changes coz the song is supposed to be a conversation.

Regardless, I don't think the lyrics make the song any better. They might be using hip hop as the style, but Soshi is still pretty much pop music. And pop music should NEVER rely on the lyrics to make any sense.
