In other words they don't have the confidence she has in her own songs. Anyway I'll wait for that day. The interview is really good, basically everything I would ask (lol), read it if you can.

I'm torn when it comes to IU's involvement with her music. On the one hand, I want to see her being able to bring her own songs out, on the other hand, working with others is a huge part of the art and industry and she needs to develop skill in that side of things. Right now it seems to be a battle between two sides rather than LOEN helping her mature in working with others, with IU's victories in that battle actually being what pushes her work with others forward.
She is making progress on both sides, but it really seems like she could be growing in the solo side as well as the collaborative side a lot faster. I mean look at BoA and consider that she is six years older than IU. Six years from now will IU have been able to scrape out that much freedom as her own artist even in a collaborative sense? I called her the Korean Shirley Temple before because I really do think that is what they want her to be, but it's too late in her life and she has too much to offer to treat her like that.

Hyorin was always going to go solo, the problem is what took them so long to actually get thus all rolling? Let's be serious, since Immortal Song, she should of been had a solo career. Starship has done nothing but tease and tease away, with Sistar then Sistar19 even up to her collabs with Hyuna, Nicole etc.. She's always the main vocalist.. Like Starship.. Cut the bull. The only thing that I worry is that after she's solo she will be highly recognized as that (if she isn't already) and a destiny child situation will happen. My tiny glitter of hope is that, since kpop is still designed around groups, she will remain a member and not be caught up in the death trap that is being a solo artist.

I liked Yuri's songs from the No Breathing OST. I think this is her first solo soundtrack, right? Good for her. I've always been a fan of her voice, it has a nice huskiness to it.
