I know most of the artists but I'm surrounded by experts here. When I listen to K-Pop I mostly listen to SNSD, AOA, Mamamoo. or the newest IU album. A lot of stuff doesn't interest me so it's hard to find something new. Anyone kind enough to recommend something for me?

I would go with track #3 of the 2 first Gfriend minis, with the one from the first mini (Neverland) being the standout.

From the last mini track 5 (Someday) and maybe track 3 (Say my name)?

Alright those are pretty good. The track for their 2nd mini in particular. Gfriend has tracks that are nice to have playing in the background. Reminds me of IU's Last Fantasy album. Just nice voices and an overall calming vibe. They would benefit from releasing a full album like this.

That EXID teaser pic though... Solji really needs a makeover because that hair is doing her no favours.

Damn CLC is looking cute AF and the song is a real jam. Although their styling has the girls looking like Hong Jin Young, Yoona, Hara, Gyuri, Jei, and Narsha. I just like music. I don't even mostly listen to K-Pop really it's just one genre I like.

Maybe I should make an obscure 70's prog rock bands OT....

I do like stuff like those artists for sure though, K-Pop is about the only pop music I can stand but I mostly I'll listen to anything as long as it's good. Thanks for throwing some reconsiderations my way! I always appropriate it.

It looks like you're really open to everything which is awesome. I can't really recommend you anything in particular but you should definitely check music shows
such as Immortal Song and Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook in their entirety, there's a huge variety of good music in those.

Lim Chang Jung is good for ballads. Maybe too "old" for some but I find he has a confident ease and depth that is subtly expressed. When he comes on a music show after a stream of youngsters the difference is really apparent.

Hmm, this is good, sounds quite EXID-lite. Not great, but definitely an improvement from their previous releases. I will follow them to see if they are going somewhere with this or if it was just a fluke.

And Rip Sorn having almost zero screen time, I wonder if Cube regrets putting her in the group, she stands out too much.

Actually AKP just kinda partnered with a company that trained and launched New.F.O, allkpop was basically a promotional platform that also partly funded their debut. But they flopped hard despite hyping them up, so they got swept under the rug.

So... I guess this is the last week of I.O.I as we know it. Any ideas of who might drop from the lineup?

I'm expecting Chaeyeon leaving since there were reports of the recording of a MV with the girls from DIA (and because MBK are assholes).

I honestly don't see the advantage of any of the girls dropping right now, since the group is quite popular and they have several songs charting decently. The only one that could have the same kind of attention outside of the group is probably Somi, but I don't see JYP having anything ready for her since Twice is just on fire. Maybe Yeonjung also, since it seems it's not well liked as part of the group?

I want Pledis girls to debut already, but I feel like Nayoung and Pinky should ride the IOI wave a bit longer and absorb as much fans as they can from IOI.
