going further, kanye produces a significant amount (if not the majority) of the music on his albums himself, which takes his lyrics in a whole different creative direction altogether.

Hearing Jay lazily whine the hook as if his voice were close to cracking... it was soooo weird and uncomfortable. Like that part sounds like a guy is singing a song he doesn't want to and is forced to do it regardless for a check :lol it's unsettling to hear that in his voice in the hook.
Did Kanye produce that (besides the lex beat) because he must have just been zooted that session or something. At the very least he should have fixed that part with the subtle correct use of auto-tune.

:lol @ H.A.M. finally heard it. The opera singing and shit sucks ass. Everything after Hov's verse is garbage and unnecessary. Didn't find the beat bad except when that wannabe God of War part kicks in near the end of their verses. Jay-Z did better than Ye on this and I like how he flowed over the beat.
