Why is choosing to be a different person - and thus end up with a different relationship - considered to be a lack of consistency? It's a different story depending on the choices made in the end, you see the dude act differently and essentially becoming a different person, and he's liked by the people the different traits appeal to in that case. No? Haven't started playing yet, and I've never played a VN, just curious. Now having varying quality is certainly a problem.
Edit: unless that Hisao mentioned isn't the main character, then yeah, I guess the supporting cast should behave similarly regardless of your choices and only change how they feel about the main character...
