Not everyone's interested in playing a horror game for the claustrophobics aka bloodborne. But I definitely suggest keeping the ps4 while buying a wiiu since there are a decent amount of good games coming for both.
Are you being serious right now?And it's good. Try again.
[...] Bloodborne which looks to be the only interesting exclusive coming [...]
He specifically used DLC as a reason that the other companies do not "respect" consumers as much as Nintendo.
People need to stop with these terrible subjective generalizations
Is that really all the PS4 exclusives coming this year? For some reason I thought there was more. Or does the 3rd party support really make it seem like the PS4 has that much more coming this year?
While his statement was a bit ridiculous, having DLC doesn't mean the company's just as bad.
Now if you want to bring up the AC adapter with the n3DS XL, then you might have a point. But so far Nintendo's DLC plan (outside of Fire Emblem) has been more than fair.
"Wii U is for 5 year olds"
" Wii U gets boring quick"
Keep it up guys!
Wii U is a horrible console IMO unless you like Nintendo IP.
So is PS4 if you don't like Sony IP's![]()
Why don't you try to return the high end rig instead of scraping together a few peanuts by selling a console? You could mention the reasons for your financial difficulties in the opening post so that you don't come across as the typical irresponsible consumer who buys things they can't afford.Dude, read post #73 before saying anything. Appreciated.
The Wii U has some of the most imaginative games on the planet, you owe it to yourself to pick one up.
Might as well just trash everything and keep your PC, OP
Stop selling, reselling, buying, rebuying consoles.
You are losing money in the long run by going back and forth. Stick to what you have, save a bit more, and buy a second console then.
Otherwise you will be in the same situation once the market shifts again and you want to play a new game you can't find elsewhere.

Yes it is extreme. On the one hand, we have the "Nintendo is kiddy" folks, and then we have you, the "Nintendo loves us" crowd. They're both kind of gross to be honest.

Not true. I Don't really care for most of Sony's first party stuff, but they actually get substantial third party support.
More than half the games coming out that are Playstation or console exclusive are from third parties. With a huge amount of first games too.
Oh and what about the system without these games? Why gross? And the kiddy opinion is the classic troll, it's fun. Anyone with an ounce of common sense will know the Juvenile systems are those with the majority of macho power fantasy experiences.
And the thing is there's bound to be a slimmer ps4 down the line, maybe this year even? So take that into consideration as well.
Tell me about all these 3rd party games on PS4 you can't get on PC.
There's plenty more.
You're just as pathetic as the people you're mocking. Why gross? And the kiddy opinion is the classic troll, it's fun. Anyone with an ounce of common sense will know the Juvenile systems are those with the majority of macho power fantasy experiences.
Lol.Indeed. Critics may deride region locking as anti-consumer but it is done out of a sense of paternalism, it's for our own good. A parent can respect their child but still set boundaries for them.

I was trying to keep the list to games that have a 2015 release announced or are at least very likely to release this year. As far as I know there's never been a timeframe for Rime given and I wouldn't be shocked if it slips to 2016.
I could see it getting delayed further, but as it stands right now, Rime is definitely scheduled for release this year.
In my case, 2014 GOTY aka Guilty Gear Xrd and Persona 5.Tell me about all these 3rd party games on PS4 you can't get on PC.
Da fuq is that. Never even heard of it.

Persona 5.
So now we are moving the goalposts from Sony has no third party support to "Sony has no third party support that I can't also get if I have a pc" Gotcha.
2014 GOTY aka Guilty Gear Xrd
Can you think of a second one you can bring up with a straight face? Persona 5 is the obvious answer, yes.

guys, I'm fairly new in the neogaf thing.
why exactly are people fighting each other over the recommendations they are giving?
If I recommend him a PS4 and I list a couple of reason and someone else point recommends a WiiU, I don't have any reason to be upset with him and try to trash his opinion.
it's not like I have any personal benefit of Sony selling an extra piece of hardware.
Does it always turn this "personal"?

The point still stands, don't buy and resell consoles if you are having financial difficulties. If you are truly in a bind, get rid of the PS4, but don't go out there and buy a WiiU. That is just dumb.

That too, ps4 might have a drop too though, and the wiiu will have significantly less chance of a hardware revision. And IMO the current ps4 form is a bit too big.And what about a price drop for the WiiU?
Go one..... I have a PS4 and I haven't been following anything so I would actually like to know whats coming out this year. Not sure if its off topic or not but sure it will help OP decide.

If by imaginative you mean retreads of the same games you've played before.
WiiU games are good mind you, but imaginative? Come on, be real.
You're living up to your tag, mate.

Ah, and we are down to personal attacks. Well done.
No, there's other stuff like Until Dawn, Tearaway Unfolded, Rime, Salt & Sanctuary, Axiom Verge, etc. Plus expect a ton of localization announcements, like we just saw with Toukiden. Is that really all the PS4 exclusives coming this year? For some reason I thought there was more. Or does the 3rd party support really make it seem like the PS4 has that much more coming this year?

I don't think it's very wise to sell systems. If I buy a console, I'm sticking to it. So I don't believe you should sell your PS4. Bloodborne could be the next Dark Souls 1. Do you really want to miss out?
