Nah.
So the album has replayability like The Cool and FnL?
Nah.
Good kid mad city is a classic album that 30 years from now people will be bumping still.
To pimp a butterfly will be forgotten at the end of the year. Fuck Kenny for dropping this shit bomb.
I'd put them at the same level lyrically. However, to say it's the lyrically the best rap album of the year ignores Tetsuo and Youth.
It's so bad. And lately he's switching it up into even more annoying voices on certain songs.I don't really like his vocal style.
Tetsuo & Youth sucks.
OP doesn't enjoy albums. OP enjoys singles.
So the album has replayability like The Cool and FnL?
Tetsuo & Youth sucks.
Can't tell that definitively since it's been out a month. So the album has replayability like The Cool and FnL?
Nope.Tetsuo & Youth sucks.
Honesty can help sometimes.Tetsuo & Youth sucks.
People stanning for Kanye's (tied for) worst album in here. SMH.
Not as high since it has numerous 8-9 minute tracks, but it's definitely a replayable album.
Since I love > and <
GKMC > TPAB >> Section 80. Never heard OD
Yeah pretty much. I didn't keep a single song off the album - it felt super unnecessary. Anything on there that I'd even kind of like becomes boring or just makes me want to listen to his first two albums.
I haven't touch the album since early feb...like I said it's not a bad album but it's not something I would bump on the regular.
Oh no you didn't. Drizzy at the top of the game right now.Lmao who do you think you are saying people bumping the mentioned "corny" tracks should be ashamed of themselves?
Have you heard drakes rhymes, the production on his shit? THATS corny.
You aint a god, log off.
Tetsuo & Youth sucks.
Maybe in sales. Everything else, no.Oh no you didn't. Drizzy at the top of the game right now.
Does Yeezus and Graduation not exist?
So what happens if the same happens with TPaB and all the incoming releases?
We're not even 2 weeks in yet.
anyone who says otherwise is fucking wrong.
Still give me hope that he may course correct. Lazers was leading somewhere...dark...
Once you experience a timeless record...there's no dying down of how much you play it.
Honestly, it's on par with To Pimp a Butterfly for best rap album so far.
Not even 2 weeks yet...

No. T & Y is poor by itself.
Put in context with some of Lupe's other works and it is unlistenable.
I don't like his beats from what I've heard except "Swimming Pools" cause dat trap shit. And I don't like his voice or his flow. I don't get it either, but whatevs.
A quick skimming of T&Y and I can tell at least that I'll like the beats better than most of kendricks stuff. His voice is less annoying than kendricks too but the flow is just as bad.
I like the album and can understand why people hype it up so much even if it just does not album for me to actually listen to. However, to say it's the lyrically the best rap album of the year ignores Tetsuo and Youth.
If there's any one thing I can say about T & Y is that it's getting buried this year.
2015 be that year we got too much on the plate. Everyone's eating.

Wow. Album is very very solid, and a true follow up to Food and Liquor.
You listen to Tetsuo and tell me its unlistenable after going back and listening to LASERS.
Unlistenable lmfao, myriad hyperboles in this thread
