You know this scene is going to happen at least once, or something similar will.
They both have a scissor blade, dramatic spinning camera angles, the clink both parts together as Ragyo is near defeated on her knees, huge lens flare, they both scream "Fiber Lost" then decapitate Ragyo.

Wish there was a dubbed version but that probably won't come for a while. At leastt he japanese voice acting is good/funny/crazy.
There is fanservice but at least they play that into the craziness of the show. Yeah, i think I'll like this.

I don't speak a lick of Japanese but, to me, the VA has been phenomenal in this show. After Ep. 18 I think

Edit: Spoiler tagged for you since I completely forgot you were only on the first episode.
I wanted Rossiu really dead in the middle of it. Kind of sad to see that Simon ended up as a wanderer, I just wanted him and Nia to have a really happy and boring life together.
The show has an amazing story arc, and really caught me off guard with how things unfolded, plus it has a really positive message.
Its the best show.

Ouch I hope I didn't spoil the show for anyone, anyway the ending wasn't bad, everything was resolved at the least.
Seriously...it felt unfair to what the series is about---"going against the impossible".
Felt like Gainax just want to slap a bittersweet ending just for the sake of bittersweet ending.

Agreed. They do the impossible, literally defy improbable odds, take things to unfathomable proportions, and when they get the chance at the end to make everything perfect (like reviving those who sacrificed their life to make it this far), they go, "nope, that's taking it too far!"
Yeah, I was bummed out for a solid day because of TTGL's ending.

Simon and Kamina break out of the extradimensional labyrinth, when Simon raises his core drill and bends all of the alternate realities one of them has him holding up a baby. RIP unborn child of Simon and Nia.
