Ended up watching the rest of this after wrapping up Knights of Sidonia, and it definitely finished a lot stronger than it started. Things picked up for me once all the swerves started, but I couldn't imagine myself completing the whole thing if the latter half had been as pedestrian as the former.

But even with all the over top fighting and henshin-ing and DON'T BE AFRAIIIIIIID, I finally saw the real reason why people like the show so much. I honestly don't think I've ever seen an anime mother
play with her daughter's pussies as well as Ragyō Kiryūin.

She did splendid work on them, no doubt.

But yeah, glad I finished the series, and I'm still laughing at all the original fans that got mad about Platinum doing a LoK game fore KlK.

DON'T LOSE YOUR WAAAAAAAAAAAY!

WOW what a show. I went on a binge of it this week and it blew me away. Thought it was incredibly stupid plot at first, but they did a great job in making it seem semi believable. At first I thought it was playing up to fanboy service, but the show managed to maintain its dignity for the most part.

So I decided to rewatch the entirety of KLK a couple days ago, and holy fucking shit episode 18. Gave me chills even though I knew what was coming.

Likely the publisher, Aniplex. But holy Jesus people need to stop harassing folks over making a KLK game. If they had thought it was a good idea, it'd have been made already.

Yep, it's great even on re-watch. I cannot get enough Ragyo.

But now I've gotten spoiled by the first blu-ray. Watching even HD streams looks blurry and shit.

Agreed on the Blurays, the sound was so much better than the streams as well. Can't wait for the next one.

Youtube version is always region blocked since it's Aniplex, that's why I reupped it to Dailymotion.

Edit: oh, I see people jumped on pkjd's reup. His 720p filesize doesn't match youtube's meaning it's a reencode of the youtube stream... sigh. When Dailymotion is perfectly capable of accepting it and passing it through.

Oh, thank goodness it's not a beach or...slice-of-life episode. I find it hard to stomach the KLK subreddit these days because everyone seems to be discussing the
incredibly unlikely
prospect of a slice-of-life spin-off.

Lol, sorry. I didn't mean to scare people away with my analysis. If you are skipping the trailer, then don't read those spoiler bars. They only describe shots from the trailer.

Not going to lie I'm pretty let down by the fact that it looks like the OVA is an action episode and not just an extended epilogue for all the characters involved.

KLK ended on such an abrupt note and I wanted more time to spend with the characters and the world, not more action.

I thought that the ending was great, myself. It ended on a strong point and I'm thankful that the last half of the episode wasn't relegated to showing what everyone was up to. This is usually a big gripe I have with some of my favorite series.

I share your opinion. It still could be. Maybe they fool us in it's just five minutes of action against a faux threat. #believe

nah i don't think there's room for your typical epilogue episode in this series. i'd like one but it wouldn't really suit the show to have a 'hangout episode' with little to no action.

it's so balls to the wall.

Maybe it'll end up being half and half. Some epilogue extensions to give the cast time to interact, plus some more action for those who just want to see stuff blowing up again.
