The only 360 arcade stick I had left was the weird Injustice pdp thing.
And it does not seem to work with the PC version of KI after the update.
 
So I managed to get all of Kilgore's achievements in 2 days while he was free. Seems like a real fuck you to those who paid for him to have him free so quickly. So I might as well wait for the free rotation for the 2 new characters too.

One of the new characters (RAAM I think) was the free rotating character the day he released.

I managed to convert two of my friends over to KI! We're having a grand time, it's pretty refreshing to play this with friend after SFIV and V.

...Though all three of us having some level of stupid Windows related issues made the first day a massive pain in the ass. Stupid Toredo...

Congrats. I'm still feeling things out and trying to get used to its systems of opener, linker, manual shadow linker etc. Keeps feeling like I'm mashing when I know I'm not in this game lol. Just really easy to jump in and get fancy.

So far the two character's I've clicked with the most are Eyedol and Rash. I thought I'd be all over like Cinder, Tusk or Omen but for some reason Eyedol and Rash just gelled with me. Rash you honestly could mash given his trait is "mash the buttons for combo" lol. I love how his instinct lets him summon the speeder bike like an assist to make stuff safe and I love how his boot cancels to anything. Uses up shadow meter heavy though vs power zoners because he has to use it for the projectile immunity on his head ram. Yeah I know I can eat projectiles but I keep screwing up afterwards and getting tagged.Love his pressure once he's in though.

On the flipside I love Eyedol who keeps randomly flipping after M or H stuff from the zoner to rushdown stuff. I can wail with either so I'm fine with it even if I do find it more challenging to get charges stocked with a command grab than stocking charges off the teleport attack between forms. His damage is pretty stellar and even his zoning form's range is good enough that I don't struggle without charges to get going with him. Tricky part is NOT dying if he just has a head switch mid blockstring or something. I keep having to use enders early and port out lest I end up leaving myself open. He's definitely a character who makes you get good at breaking.

I'm not much of a keychain person but those all look really great. I hope they roll out more to cover the whole roster. It's just a shame the shipping to Canada ends up more pricey than the product even in bulk orders :/

If I was a betting man I would say KI World Cup this weekend is a safe bet. I know the MS guys teased they were back in front the green screen last week so I expect some form of a news update perhaps prior to or at KI WC as well.

If they are doing a "clone" character then might as well do one off the best designed female fighting game characters. It still pains me how much of a half baked effort Kim Wu looks in comparison :(

I tried again and my old Injustice stick still doesn't work.
I also tried to get a Hori RAP4 kai to work through crap like Inputmapper or DS4windows and something else, but none of them recognize it.

So I guess I'm just destined to never play this game.

It looks like they're pulling out 5 from each of the groupings in the Shadow Lords character section when filtered by group
First five were from the Order group (9 total, others were Aganos, Glacius, Orchid, Kim Wu)
These are from the Ultratech group (6 total, other was Cinder)
Looking like those above won't get one
The last group is Chaos (9 total: Wulf, Spinal, Kan-Ra, Omen, Hisako, Mira, Gargos, Eyedol, Shago)

Probably her real name, Chiharu.

Okay, the third fighter being brand new is something I'm interested in. If Chiharu ends up being a grappler, I'm going to skip out on her. Can't grapple for beans.

Makes sense but I find it hard to believe they'd skip Kim-Wu, the new main character.
Though I guess she isn't that popular online

I don't think she'll be a grappler at all if she's using a sword. No Idea what her moveset will be if it's not a remixed version of her current. Maybe a shorter range, fast attacking hisako?

My best character and main getting a remix is cool, i hope she plays well. Killgore was a terrible downgrade so she better not be.

Do not feel like exact quoting but he said she would be more straightforward to play than Hisako but still with her own surprises.

I think the name could have been much more creative but I love that it's Hisako getting the alternate. As I said already; aesthetically Hisako was the best designed visually from IG.

The only downside is I know that celdweller and atlas plug have zero chance of meeting or exceeding Hisako's theme from Mick.

I will admit I am a bit taken back that Shadow Orchid wasn't one of the three characters. Didn't she destroy the other poll characters?

They are saving her for KI4 on Scorpio.
 
Oh yessssssss Hisako remix <3! Haven't played in a while so I'm definitely down to see a new Tender Moments with IG whenever they show Shin Hisako!

Oh and those keychains shipped really quick, I had it within like 3 days of ordering it!
 
I like Hisako well enough as an addition to the KI cast, but I was hoping for a more unique character visually instead of Shinsako who visually is a character we already have. I wish it was a Remix character more in the vein of an Omen, not Shago/Killgore. Oh well, at least I'm sure she'll play unique and the 3rd remix character will be brand new addition anyways,

And yeah I have high hopes for KI2 being a Scorpio launch title. It aligns with Keits moving to the new IG office, MS surveys on KI and a limitation in how they keep pushing current KI to give the community the support they want.

I certainly hope a potential KI4 ;) is going to be some form of an all new 'next gen' game squeezing everything it can out of Scorpio hardware. But Phil Spencer's recent comments about how he doesn't see Scorpio as the main platform but a secondary 'premium' option have me very worried about that as a realistic expectation...

I was hoping (maybe foolishly) that after a year or two Xbox One would be completely fazed out and Scorpio/PC would be THE platform for at least 2-3 years till Xbox Two or whatever they call it in 2020 or so.

Or..that could be exactly the plan and Phil is lying his ass off cause MS needs to sell as many Xbox One S' as humanly possible.
