Well it would be surprising at this point if there wasn't considering all the hints they have dropped. Best case scenario is that it will be announced next week at TGS, otherwise it is most likely next month at D23 Japan.

I don't care what anyone says, I'll use dem summons even if they are less than optimal. Dat Genie can do some serious damage damnit!

Yeah, have to play the game 3 whole times, the difficulty trophies don't stack. The hard one will be beating game in 15 hours and not changing your equipment. The no equipment one though probably will be pretty easy on the easiest difficulty setting.

The 15 hour trophy is easy if you skip worlds (especially in beginner mode).

Cutscenes apparently don't even count on the time. Anyway you can skip a big part of the game and reach the final boss. You don't even have to visit Olympus, 100 Acre woods, Atlantica (or HW Town if you are weird) and while you have to visit Monstro you can skip most of it by beaming out at the first save point.

Stun Impact, Ripple Drive, and Hurricane Blast early on are all incredible, fwiw.

Yup. The definitive version of KH1 in fact! Has bunch of bonus content never released outside Japan.

It also has the direct sequel to KH1 but it is more of a ''sidegame''. While 100% canon and has major story developments it is quite different from the main games like KH1.

Pretty much althou Days is kinda sorta supposed to be watched after KH2... kinda. It released after KH2 originally but in the timeline it is before KH2. I guess it isn't that bad to do it first but it might be a lil weird (if you can stomack Days that is).

Actually, I find myself constantly wishing the camera was zoomed out more so I could see more of Sora's surroundings. Maybe the camera was pulled out a little bit by default in subsequent games and I just never noticed it?

Dont pay attention to the reviews (the GT one is laughable), get it for what it is. This will be a wonderful experience of nostalgia.

Hopefully they can get 2.5 out faster.

Was going back and forth on this, but I think I'm gonna pick it up today. $40 is a pretty good price. And I'm in the mood for it since my wife has been playing KH2 the past week or so.

There is only the triangle button on the main command. I am sort of disappointed they missed adding a 4th shortcut slot and the ability to put in a potion. Probably wouldn't have been too hard to do compared to the other stuff they did do.

KH 2.5 HD ReMix could be awesome. I hope its KH 2 Final Mix with Birth By Sleep Final Mix, and I guess Dream Drop Distance cutscenes?

KH 2 is my favorite in the series by far.

I'm on the fence on whether to pick this up or Animal Crossing for 3DS. This one would be more tempting since it's releasing this week and I have really fond memories of the first game (the last game I played was Dream Drop Distance and I hated it), but I've heard too many good things about AC...

Hmmm... Looks like cutscenes are counting towards my play time. I clocked myself yesterday. I started at 6:00pm and stopped to watch a show at 8:06pm. Got to Wonderland. Time the game has recorded when I hit save: 02:06:45....

Does anyone remember if there's any advantage to using the guest party members like Aladdin or Tarzan?

IIRC you need Donald and Goofy with you to activate Trinities, so I'm thinking of sticking with them all the time to avoid backtracking. Am I missing anything here?

Some of them have good abilities I guess. I personally always use Donald and Goofy because of trinities in KH1.

KH2 does it right. It's fun to use the new party member limits too.

A lot of the music is better, but there is also a lot that loses something in the transition IMO. Hand in Hand and Hollow Bastion are two that stand out as really lacking in comparison to the original synth.
