Does this game have any issues running on the regular 3ds xl, not the newer version? Looking to pick up a new game for a trip I have coming up

Just finished world one, really enjoying so far! It's a shame about the frame rate dips on 3D mode on new 3DS, though - I loved playing Triple Deluxe in 3D at a rock-solid frame rate.
Can you actually kill theI'm assuming you cannot.tree boss when it randomly shows up in 1-1?
I guess I should keep my Mario Amiibo on hand for the cannons and fuses. I almost never use Fire unless I need it for those.
Triple Deluxe was super fun. I'm looking forward to this. Going to try and rent it for now since I just bought Mirror's Edge, but I'm excited to play through it.
Time to redo that level! You can and that is how you get the gold sticker for that level
Dat second world omg
Just as how RTDL masterfully reinvented Stone and Ninja, I'm impressed at what they've done with Jet and Mirror. Doctor is easily my favorite of the new Copy Abilities. I thought it would be PSI, but I'm a little disappointed it's hardly more than a retooled PK Flash. Still cool though.
Anyone else catch the unexpected remixes thus far? Hoping there's more!
On a further note, I'm surprised that I couldn't recognizetwo of the ripped music cameos in 2-6.
You should check my Miiverse post, Friend Owl: https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYMHAAACAAADV0Z6IZrvPwThe game has been nice enough to give me two different Coo stickers by the end of World 2, my mech customisation may as well be complete.
Though I wont say no to Nago the fat cat on one side.
omfg mecha Kirby is the coolest
For 2-6, at least one of the tracks is Kawasaki's theme from the unlocalized Super Star Stacker so that probably doesn't help (though I already forgot what the other two).
Kinda surprised me when I heard it, they don't usually reference it outside of Masked Dedede's theme.
Does anyone know how many GameStop trading cards there actually are?
Kind of odd to say but I really love the cinematic feel of this game. They really experimented with camera angles and swooping shots to give things an impressive sense of scale or to make the fights more exciting. Really, really neat, sets it apart from other Kirby games.
The cashier at mine gave me two packs and I ended up getting eight different cards from them. I'm assuming there are probably as many as there are armor modes?Does anyone know how many GameStop trading cards there actually are?
Judging by this thread on GameFAQS, maybe 10? I didn't preorder, but I'm wondering if I'll get some if I buy the game at the GameStop near where I'll be this weekend...
So I just started playing this game and I'm really loving all of it but Im so dissapointed the frame rate dips a lot while using the 3d effect.
I only noticed some slowdown once in Triple Deluxe in a big room with a bunch of doors. Hope it's not too bad.
It's pretty bad. Expect some really noticeable FPS drops when you're using your mech in 3D further on.
Just wondering, is that on an old or New 3ds? I don't mind turning 3D off if necessary, but I only have old 3dses.
I'm playing on a new and had just a bit of slowdown already on level 1.
Is it super easy like Triple Deluxe was?
If the question is why would I just rent such a cool game, I'm sorry! Need to pick and choose my purchases! It has been a busy couple months for gaming. If the question is where to rent it, Gamefly has it to rent.Rent it?
It's Kirby, dude...
