Just a general thought:
LadyGAF is just as clueless as anyone. People can't properly analyze their feelings and the instinctual aspects of their decision making by themselves. You need scientific research and lots of samples for that, with distance towards the subject in question, doubleblind experiments, fMRI studies, the whole nine yards. And even then, shit turns out to be not fit for general advice. Except if you go at it with the big ruler (be approachable, talk to people, have a reasonable outlook in life, don't be a downer, keep yourself clean, blah); but that much is obvious to anyone.
I mean, sure, might as well try to squeeze some wisdom out of LadyGAF, I don't see the harm in general. Don't expect much though. Just look at yourself and what you could say about that topic, now add like 15 experiences on top of that that have nothing to do with your personal situation. It's not looking particularly useful at that point.
I'd love to be wrong with that, but from what I gathered, it's a fundamental truth that people can't tell in detail why they like this guy and not that guy, or what that guy should do to be more successful in the love department. It's much too mechanical in some regards, much too complex in others to really squeeze out useful general advice out of the way your life went.
You just have to live your life, dude. Be persistent, of course, because without that, you're really lowering your chances considerably; I'm sure you've figured that out at some point.
But don't think there's a magic trick to it; just use common sense, don't be an asshole, talk to girls when they seem nice to talk to, you'll be fine.
