League of Legends Championship Series: Season 4

I can agree with the pauses but really other than that it's mostly great.

I feel like people focus too hard on the negatives :I

The pauses are a large part of the technical issues though. I know Riot is still relatively new to this when compared to normal broadcast sports. It just feels so amateur every time it happens, and the break they had there where they thought we couldn't hear the audio was pathetic.

Another.

I mean, I love this and it makes my work day go by SO much faster, but there are pauses every game. If this is an issue with their sponsored computer, they need to find a new sponsor. If they need more time between games to set things up, take it. They need to do something. I mean, shit, my old computer that isn't specialized for this game has had maybe two crashes in three years (not including my crappy internet or power outages).

Aaaand, new computer.

I guess I don't mind so much since this is a stream

like if I were watching football and they ran out of balls or something I'd be pretty pissed but that's on tv and it becomes my whole focus for a while

if I'm watching stream and there's a bit of a delay I'll just browse gaf or whatever

And there's the Chain Vest + Giant's Belt for the eventual Sunfire Cape.

Darien remains to be the only player on LCS who has some idea how to build Trundle effectively.

To be fair, they current "shaky" has put them in a much better state when it comes to the tourny table than they've had in the past. Shaky Fnatic is best Fnatic?

I don't think Fnatic is necessarily better than before right now, it's rather that most other solid teams in the EU LCS have gone through heavy changes, being split or similar like Lemondogs, NiP, EG, etc. Even Gambit recently just readded Edward to their roster, and the formation of Alliance hurt many teams, including Alliance.
The EU LCS teams as a whole are not as strong as before. I think it's mainly due to this that we see Fnatic dominate so much. Their competition got weaker.

I sort of agree, and sort of disagree. I don't think they're in top form, but I do think they're better than they honestly ever were before they had Rekkles. I know, I know, "He's overrated". And he is... internationally, but within the confines of Europe he's just head and shoulders against most of the other ADCs.

I do expect them to get better, but only if Gambit and Roccat can push them. They're in real danger of getting complacent if they keep getting these walk-off matches against Alliance and company.

I agree that fnatic is stronger than before, this combined with the weaker competition allows them to dominate line they do.

The competition will certainly improve during the split.

I'll give us a countdown then. No fancy matchup table though.

When did SK learn how to actually capitalize on team fight wins? A dragon, two mid-lane towers, and a blue buff cleanly off two kills - that's legitimately impressive, consider how wishy-washy they usually are about securing objectives.

Edit: Baron, two more, and an inhibitor off just catching out Froggen? I think someone secretly replaced SK with a Korean team.

The ability of super minions to buff one another may be a bit much, due to their tendency to stack up in a lane even with only one inhibitor down. You basically can't afford to do anything with an inhibitor down, because if a second super minion stacks up with one that's already spawned and hasn't been dealt with, they push straight through unassisted.

I don't think gambit vs fnatic was too good but gambit sure outpicked and outplayed fnatic hard, really good for them.

alex ich was pretty beast tho, I didn't remember his zed but it sure was scary, and fnatic's comp couldn't really deal with being behind, specially with knowing that evelynn is gonna countergank every attempt you make at coming back

Not much worse to be up against than a slow methodical stomp. Poor XDGG.

Oddone playing so well. Bjerg getting his split push (340 cs) on rather than dominating people other than the 1v1 kill on ManCloud.

vulcun failed that baron throw and actually got it

sad

It seemed to me like TSM really didn't give a shit about it too.

They didn't see them doing it until later ... but just walked in and killed 1-2 people after they got it.

XDGG NEEDS to drop Zuna. For real.

they're all playing really bad tbh, bloodwater and mancloud feel like they really dropped their game from last split

so i don't follow the pro scene too closely, but last year i remember the spring split didn't mean anything at all with respect to getting to the world finals. is it the same this year?

Yeah I use the embedded YT on LoLesports so I don't see the chat either way. 9.99/10 I am playing a game while watching these games so I wouldn't be paying attention to it anyway.

Picking Katarina into Leblanc? Is Shipthur thinking?

edit : Well played roam by him though there. Avoided Leona seeing him too.
