As far as I'm aware, Diamond 1 is the only League that has LP clamping, so it will be hard to climb and get harder the closer you get to Masters.

So when I inevitably get to Masters, my LP gain will improve again? Shweet.

You know they get a certain amount of money each year to be spent on other games? Unless things have changed since I heard about that.

Things have not changed on that! It's really helpful to learn how other games do things so you can inform some of your decisions and strategies, both in terms of what they do well and what they don't do well.

Watching that pisses me off so much. Her first kit was much cooler and interesting since it fully interacted with the worked ground mechanic.

And from this we get one of the most boring passives in the game (that is really awkward to use) and a worked ground idea that was poorly implemented and fleshed out.

Edit-One of the concepts they came up for her was ripping up the ground, and that became her Q? Uh..her Q does NOT convey that power fantasy well. Not at all. The limiter it has makes sense in that context, but it is not portrayed well at all.

The first design they had for her, where worked ground affected all of her skills, and earthquake was a huge aoe, seems like it'd be more faithful to an earthbender concept. And it would make sense to have a built in limiter to her abilities.
Right now, her Q is neither here or there. Having the worked ground is just bad since her Q isn't all that strong. Total at 5 it does what, 400+%120 damage? And that's hitting all the rocks? For a skillshot that has a limiter like worked ground, it's just...extremely underwhelming.
It sucks. And earth mage should be cool and rock solid. But it's just..it bugs me.

I wouldn't call Vlad buffed, but changed for sure. His skill set encourages actively engaging your opponent in lane in order to get the most of it, removing the whole 'Just Q and walk away' playstyle he previously had. Weaker in some ways, stronger in others

He was buffed with a hotfix, but that's because his remake was....lackluster given the new playstyle. I still think he's currently weaker post-hotfix than he was before, if only because his Q is weaker than before.
they doubled the ap ratio on his q or something
idk he's a champ i personally just find frustrating to play against

So much in that video coulda been great.
That regen passive would have been so good.
ALL her skills interacting with the theme of worked and unworked ground.
No mine field.
Powerful mage like ult that cleared out worked ground so that she could follow up with other skill rotations after it.
Given what we have I would have prefered to have waited 6 months for that. Seeing how she's soo new and how much the guy who came up with her kit's design is so pleased and defensive of it I don't see them changing her in any big way.
Feel like they screwed her up worse than Illiolios. At least her janky kit has a back bone connecting all the parts that allows them to make her into something good and normal with enuff changes. I see that they were atleast testing out having a slow on her Q recently though they seem to have reverted that.
On a separate note, I'm loving Sion mid! I have never been such a "team player" before. I can drop a rott mid and roam without worrying about my tower being gone. I can ROAM because I'm not a caster like Vel (love playing Vel but until I get some good items I never leave my lane or go too far away from tower outta fear of some one droppin me) so if I run into trouble I can gtfo.
Hell, in a recnt game out Top Susan was getting stumped by a Gnar and even he didn't seem to understand how ... but I was doing good in lane so I'd gank for him and walk away to give him the kills cause I know how useful a fed Nasus is. And that helped him a ton. Playing any other mid I woulda just took the kills for myself cause fuck you, I gotta nuke people (that's IF I helped him).
Always wanted to get better at roaming.
