Preferred the old Vi styled cone with slow marks where the slow was a strong but degrading slow. New E is...Christ how many champs have a line skill shot slow now? Big whoop. My personaly preference is still to give skarner a single target snare on E. Piercing an enemy with the tail to snare would be way cooler than some generic slow line skill shot.
I suggest maybe even asking him to ward the tribush and you ward the top of the bush north of the red camp. This gives you better early vision of the invade. If you see the enemy jungler with either ward he's almost certainly going to plant his ass in the red camp bush, so you don't actually need vision of the bush itself. Also, if you're running a slower jungler, like a Nautilus for instance, you'll see the enemy jungler in your side of the jungler well before your make it to the camp. At that point you can either call for mid or bot laners to assist in the jungle, or change course and go for his red.
I think the best advice I can give to anyone who suspects he's about to get invaded is do whatever you need to do to stay safe. Skip a starting potions and buy a ward instead of machete+5pots. Spec into utility and get the free ward. Start red then go blue instead. Whatever keeps you safe and relatively unimpeded. Invading and counterjungling is all about keeping the better late game jungler down. Deny your opponent that advantage and you win. Well, you win your match-up at any rate.
Good advice here too. I typically look for the red bush ward at the very least but 2 wards covering both entrances is ideal.
Early game jungling is very much a strategy game trying to predict what your opponent is going to do.

Apparently there's some drama where somebody has been revealing Usernames/Passwords of people, if any of you know the GEM drama rumor has it that RiotJay is behind these reveals using different account names. An Adjudicator named Larias has already been hit and his account got banned for posting porn(Knowing Larias, he's been a long time member of the community and wouldn't do something like that, so there might be weight to the story).

Honestly I can use a pre-paid card for those one off online purchases. Or even travel where the threat of getting it stolen is out there. I do NOT see myself using it regularly especially for the really poor dollar to RP conversions after the bonuses. It's really not worth it for that purpose.
It's pretty smart of AMEX though.

Direct deposit means linking your saving or checking account to the debit card. The same way you transfer money to your PayPal account. It has nothing to do with your pay check.
I was thinking that too. But, is it actually a credit card? Or just a prepaid card? Or do they work the same way..
I think it says you can attach your bank account, probably a checking account, to it.

It is a prepaid card, they are doing this because PayPal is charging riot a lot of money. PayPal is the only option for a lot of people without credit card. They are profiting from this by cutting PayPal out as the middle man.
I don't think there's a fee, I can't check until I get home since for some reason I can't apply using my phone.

I work as a cashier, so if it's what I think it is, you have to pay a fee for the card, and a fee for whenever you want to reload it. AM has other cards of that sort at the store I work that, and Visa Prepaids work the same way.

Direct deposit is when your employer deposits your paycheck directly into your bank account. So, you get 10k rp when your direct deposit goes through. Loading money from a bank account, debit card, or credit card will get you 1000rp for the first load of $20. I don't think you get more after that.

Welp, that's good to hear. Now to wait 2 weeks before I actually get the card. I went with the black League of Legends one since the other designs kinda suck.
I think that $4.95 fee only applies with the Green Dot MoneyPak reloads. I don't see anywhere that using a bank account to load with cost you any fees.

After reading through most of the terms of service for the card, the only thing i can find that would cost something is withdrawing money via an ATM. If anyone finds something otherwise let me know. I'll use this to get the 3k points and probably nothing else like most people.

So I suppose I just wait for the card now. It just felt a little sudden. No prompt or email. Just clicked that blue "Sign Up" button and then it started me back on the "Fill-In Your Name and other Things" page.
I'm just wondering if you can have a payment from something like amazon turk deposit to the card to count. I haven't looked that closely to see how it's defined.

No, direct deposit mean money going directly from one bank account to another bank account. If you have direct deposit with your employer, that mean instead of writing you a check, your employer will transfer money from their payroll account to your bank account.

Not sure, but Amazon Turk uses direct deposit right? It should work if they do. To get the 10,000RP you need to have a deposit of $20 or more through direct deposit though.

I like funny skins. My problem with the Janna skin is it completely takes you out of the game. It's something from our reality, not from the LOL world. I have an issue with skins that are overly silly, even when they're a really good idea (like Ryze's Uncle Sam skin) as it has no business in the game other than being a joke.
It's entirely possible to make funny, lore-possible skins. Riot doesn't do this very often. Instead, they make something that while funny is also irrelevant to the game. I wouldn't call it lazy, just easier.
That's a dismissive statement that ignores a totally relevant argument. Even if I don't like the skin, I have to see it, and it ruins my enjoyment of the game as a whole. Not much, to be honest, more like an eyerolling at the worst. But LOL has kind of always been a game where the lore/world comes last and if that's how they want to roll, so be it. I'm in the minority but atmosphere means a lot to me when it comes to gaming.
I do own some silly skins for the novelty, but I'd sacrifice novelty for a more connected world.
Well made and well designed are different things. I get the idea behind Janna, it is clever. The thing about Hecarim is it's a skin based on an old internet meme and the style has already been done. I think there are other champs I would rather see an "arcade" makeover with that could be better if they're going to do it.
Fine by me.

Honestly, the cashback rate on the card is so low that it's not even worth using the card beyond getting the initial rewards, and most of the rewards are through direct deposit. Not sure if I'll even bother.

3k points for very little effort. Not a huge amount but it seems worthwhile to me.
I'm divided on whether it's worth the couple hours to juggle direct deposits away from my bank and back for the 10k, realistically it shouldn't take more than 2 hours of effort for about 90 bucks worth of RP. Meh.
Took me 3 minutes to sign up for the card. That's 1k RP.
Will take me another one minute to transfer $20 to my account. That's another 1k RP.
Will take me (an extra) 2-3 minutes to ring up 10 transactions buying 10 $0.99 items I was going to buy anyway. That's another 1k RP.
5.5-6 minutes for 3k RP is totally worth it. It's a prepaid card. Not a debit, not credit. No fees. Just use it those ten times and forget about it. That's 500 RP a minute, or $3.54 a minute. That's good, easy RP.

A lot of bank will give you $100 just to open an account with direct deposit, I even see $300 bonus a while ago. It really isn't that great of a deal if you compare to that.
Ya I wouldn't do it either. My old roommate used to switch from bank to bank to get these bonuses when he was short on money for a few months.

Also, you can split your direct deposited paycheck among multiple accounts. It's still a hassle, but I could see people dumping a small amount into it using this method as a budgeted allowance for something
