I think the game was even, but I also think Fnatic were favored even in that game considering how it played out. EDG were not doing anything with the dragons and were not pushing their all-important mid game. Even if they were 1k gold ahead, I'd rather say that they were only 1k ahead against a better scaling team.

Granted, the 3rd dragon fight could've swung the game hard.

Huni would've been dead already if TK did not eat him. Granted, giving Fiora a 50 hp Riven was bad, but that could've been avoided.

Jinx played further out knowing Tahm Kench has her back, so they are baiting out the bindings. It's just a part of the match up.

What I don't get is why Meiko didn't roam because they should have known that Morgana throwing out bindings was not going to be effective, and he could have started destroying the leblanc lane doing a double stun with veigar.
