Agree. I played it some the first week or two and put it away for a while. Booted it up after the most recent update and it was a much more enjoyable experience.Only played a couple of hours. May just restart. Day one games really are pointless these days.

Shattered Space is releasing this September. Release Date trailer dropping on August 20. Be sure to watch out for the next grand adventure in the universe of Starfield titled "Starborn" coming 2025+
Because space settings is the most unique aspect of gaming that is still not touched that much. They have the rights to not one but two of the most classic and recognizeable IPs, TES and Fallout, yet they seem determined to double down on the boring setting of Starfield?

Same here. Haven't started the game since I did 1 hour gameplay.Only played a couple of hours. May just restart. Day one games really are pointless these days.
I personally loved Starfield, it's the only Bethesda RPG game I've actually finished and loved, hell I completed all the factions quests too what I loved. They have the rights to not one but two of the most classic and recognizeable IPs, TES and Fallout, yet they seem determined to double down on the boring setting of Starfield?
This is why I don't buy Day1 games. Won't waste 70$ on a garbage beta testing.Yep
I w8 for whole year to get patched and such...
Almost every new release of popular games are actualy in beta phase
I really dont understand thise developers anymore

I do think the temples could've been much better though, flying through light rings was very dull.
Really looking forward to this expansion
I tried and dropped new Vegas, fallout 4, Skyrim (360) & ESO, I might try Skyrim & fallout 4 again in the future with the series x updates.
The ship stuff in general really surprised me as I thought I would hate it, but I spent a lot of hours doing bounties for the freestar rangers, taking down the crimson fleet ships etcThe temples were incredibly redundant. Not sure what they were thinking there. But yeah, the factions were the best part. They kind of ruined the main story in the second half. Loved the ship building.

I also couldn't get into the base building stuff, but I think I'm too simple minded to figure it all out aha.
More handcrafted locations will be great! Also, let me build, run, and maintain a space station. That would be sick as fuck
Gaf should've contributed towards helping me add this to my physical Xbox collection insteadI want my Shadow of Erdtree collector's edition gift contribution returned

We got Fallout and ES multiple times. Starfield is a new IP. I think theyre just now barely tapping into the full potential with the setting for this expansion. They have the rights to not one but two of the most classic and recognizeable IPs, TES and Fallout, yet they seem determined to double down on the boring setting of Starfield?

So small amount of games then. Compared to other genre, this type of games are small. Not touched that much?
No Man's Sky
Elite Dangerous
Mass Effect Trilogy & Andromeda
Every Star Wars game ever
Starlink Battle for Atlas
The Outer Worlds
Every Star Trek game ever
Everspace
Wing Commander
CHORVS
Kerbal Space Program
Astroneer
… just off the top of my head, and not including Starfield. Space as a setting barely registers in Starfield. It exists as little more than a loading screen between planetary locations that aren't much different than TES or Fallout.
Apart from the actual space combat, and the fact that you are flying around big space stations and the like?Space as a setting barely registers in Starfield. It exists as little more than a loading screen between planetary locations that aren't much different than TES or Fallout.
It's a single player game with 2 expansions coming. If you want to play it, it's alive. It isn't GaaSThis game is still alive?
Play Jupiter Strike!Because space settings is the most unique aspect of gaming that is still not touched that much.
I need more space alien shit.
You'll be too busy with Concord.Looking forward to review bombing it
