4/5 is the last day you can do the 20% entire purchase at TRU, great for LEGO stuff. I picked up the Droid Gunship and some of the new TMNT stuff today there. Nice discount

Really kicking myself for impulse buying some of them on amazon for MSRP 3 days ago... sigh, when will I learn.

Sorry in advance, for it must have been discussed many times before, but how hard is it to turn the keychain into a regular figure ? Is the hairpiece common or is it exclusive to the Hulk minifig ?

I'm being a massize idiot but could someone clarify something for me. If I bought 3 sets totalling £439.97, then got £10 taken off due to accrued VIP points and paid a total of £429.97. How many VIP points would you expect to get in double VIP points month? Thanks

Search YouTube for "how to remove lego keychain"

I use the solder iron method. An interesting one if you don't have a soldering iron is just a candle flame. I just found that one searching now.

Hairpiece is common right now. It's the Harry Potter hair. There's a huge influx of Harry Potter minifigs recently (eBay and Bricklink) for some reason. I have no idea how these people get bulk amounts of LEGO parts and minifigs.

Thanks a lot, I'm gonna try that candle flame method. 3,99€ is cheap for a figure that goes for 20€+ fdp on BL so it's worth a shot anyway :)

Hmm I'd say that should be 429,97 * 2 = 860 points (rounded up), you get 5£ for 100 points so 8*5 = 40£ off your next purchase and 60 points left on your account. Or am I terribly mistaken ?

*edit* called my LEGO store juuuust in case... they said they don't have them yet, but that sometimes management would make a call rather to sell them early or not based on if other retailers are selling them already... I made sure to let her know a Wal-Mart in LA has sold a box, and to spread the word :p

That photo of the Simpsons CMFs in the wild just makes me want the Apu even more, it looks great. The others are still maybes. Sure they'll be snapped up in their droves though.

I'm not too interested in the Simpsons stuff but the Itchy and Scratchy figs do interest me just for the potential of their heads, tails and that club and axe. I'm thinking The Shining.

I've decided that I want to amass a Lego Storm Trooper army, what is the cheapest / best way to do that? I guess BrickLink but are there any sets out and about that have some standard Storm Troopers? All the current sets look like Clone Troopers and the Death Star only comes with flippin 2 of them wtf.

Storm Troopers (and Clone Troopers) are probably the worst minifigs to army build with because Lego can never settle on a uniform print.

Bricklink, but try to get all of the same figure id, because as Jeff Vader mentions, they change the print often.

Anyone with the Joker Steamroller set really recommend it? Damian Robin is kind of cool but that Batwing thing just looks bad. With Batgirl available as a keychain it seems i can skip this.

I love seeing his reviews of the old stuff, especially the very early 80's and late 70's space stuff. Since I didn't get into Lego until 84-85, those sets don't hold a close place in my heart, unlike Blacktron 1, which I'm very happy about, considering the prices.

That video of Jang's was too funny though. His emotions were deep. :)

I opened the box up and looked through the comic but never got round to starting it.I'll post something at the end of the weekend when its done.the batwing does look naff in pictures.

Classic Space is so good. That logo is so good as well. Those sets were before my time as I grew up on Ice Planet, Blacktron 2 and the like but I can appreciate them now though.

Now I want another for my collection...decisions, decisions...

I bought it strictly for the minifigs. Big Damian fan, but Batgirl is great to have as well If you're concerned about the build, there's always sales...

The only sets I might not buy is the SW Jedi Scout Fighter and the GotG Starblaster Showdown. I know I will end up getting every other one eventually. Curse you, TLG !!!
Edit : Had not seen the Ultra Agents sets. Some nice stuff there too :(
