Brickfanatics posted a new article today with a little more info on the UCS rumors for 2014.

http://brickfanatics.co.uk/more-rumors-on-the-ucs-sets/

I, for one, would be disappointed if the upcoming UCS Batman set is the Batwing from the Lego Movie instead of the Tumbler. The Lego Movie Batwing is cool, but a Tumbler would be way cooler. I'd even prefer a past iconic Batmobile over the Batwing.

Interesting tidbit about 10226 Sopwith Camel going OOP this summer.

I can't see 10220 or 10214 lasting much longer either.

I would like a Batwing to display, just not the Lego Movie version of it. I already have a couple Batmobile's so i'm meh on the Tumbler.

Now a UCS Mogo...yessssssss.

21110 Research Institute (aka the next LEGO Ideas set after the Exo-Suit)

Will be looking forward to it. Hopefully it will be done to have a wider market appeal. I will most likely pick up a set.

Along the lines of LEGO Ideas, I heard one store over sold $5000 worth the first day. So that means they got over 100 sets. Picked up my Ghostbuster set today so I'm eager to build it.

I'll hold out to see if they ever go for 20% off like Back to the Future set to pick up another 1 or 2.

While a UCS Tumblr would no doubt be awesome, that's not something I'd personally be after (unless it was Minifig scale I guess?) so if it winds up being the Lego Movie Batwing, then holy shit sign me up :O

Excellent work, I love Lola and would love an official release :)

Hell I need to hurry. Getting it this week, Milano can wait. Not too long though.

Same here. The movie Batwing is the shit.

Ecto 1 was sold out in Sheffield :(

I've been building a Shield Lola as well. I was using Nick Fury's car as a base, but I've switched to using a wheel mechanism based on the BTTF De Lorean instead. I'll post some pics when it's more finished :)

I heard another store in the UK somewhere had 100 and sold out the first day

Yeah I'd love both, but I'd rather a UCS Tumbler first

Having a hard time deciding what set to get my girl friend for her birthday. It's between The Simpson's House and The Sea Cow.

She bought the Simpson's House for her best friends wedding, and wished she bought one for herself. However she really loves the Lego Movie, and all things Steam Punk so the Sea Cow is right up her alley. Though things might swing back to The Simpson's favor because she has been getting all the CMF's.

I want the new sets, but they'll all have to take a back seat for the time being.

I bought a slot Machine. I found a near mint one at a junk sale this weekend and lowballed for $20 (asking $100) because he thought it didn't work. It didn't work because the lock was broken, which is required for the machine to operate. I gave it to my kid brother to look at and possibly fix and he just rigged the lock mechanism, reset the machine, and it works like new. I am having him install a volume control on the thing though because it is unbelievably loud. Next up? 500 tokens for 35$ from Ebay. They should be here by the time I make time to pick the machine up from my brother.

It is going to go in my basement, so that means I'll have to move my Lego modulars to another location. Or perhaps display them differently? Not sure, but I have some thinking to do. Maybe my video games should move instead. I need to organize those better anyway and the Lego city is such an awesome display I would hate to hide it away in another room.

I will be taking out carpet and laying hardwood floors in 2 rooms next weekend so I will be preparing for that all this week when I get home from work every night. I have to pull up carpet and floor tacks, as well as remove and mark trim for re-installation after the floors are laid.

I also just bought and installed a 65" TV and sound system upstairs last night which was harder than I thought it would be mounting and hiding all the cables over a fireplace. As soon as my floors are laid down, I have new furniture is coming the following Monday so that has to be done by Sunday no mater what. Pressure is on. Then! I immediately go on vacation that Friday.

Needless to say, there will be very little Lego or relaxing for the next 2 weeks straight for me. Probably very little GAFing in general.
Just theme the machine as a "LEGO Movie Slot Machine" and frame display shelves all around it. A little bit of work but would be awesome when done.

Got my Ecto-1! I also picked up 3 more Shuffs and 3 more orange squid Mixels, plus a Legends Wolf for parts. Gonna use the wolf joints and orange Mixels for my giant squid, and I'm gonna make a legion of Shuff for a... secret project I've been thinking of...

Or Bessa could be the designer for the LEGO Movie Batwing... if it turns out to be that rather than UCS Tumbler.

The rumored price, on whatever the DC exclusive set is, is $199USD.

If it's a Slave-1, than I would imagine, given the Star Wars tax that the set would be between 1500-2000 pieces.

If it has more pieces than that for $200 I'll be elated! :)

Edit: I hope it's not a batwing. Unless its "Very Awesome". Rather have a Tumbler.

So cool - I've got to have this.

Started to build the Super Secret Police Dropship tonight and I've made through the first three, of six, bags. Man, this has been an excellent build so far and it's shaping into an incredible model. Can't wait to finish it tomorrow night.

But for now, one round of Mario Kart 8 and then I'm off to bed.

Brick specialists at my local store said kids were very interested in the Spaceship and Emmets construction mech, but not as much interest in the dropship. I'm hoping to see some good sales or clearance on those dropships then. I'd love to have 2-3 of those. Colors are very reusable too.

I just finished building the ECTO-1. It's an amazing set that everyone should get. It has great use of SNOT techniques. The side windows is done very well. I also appreciate the fins more after seeing how it all comes together. It really does put the DeLorean to shame.

None of the other projects in review seem to match and the price implies that it's fairly simple (which the female minifig set is), just wondering if I missed something.

That price is still too high for my wallet, i really hope they'll put something exclusive (minifigs, , accessories, parts) inside

Guys, I'd really like to have a AT-ST, but the 10174 Imperial AT-ST is going for about 300€ on BL. It's too much.
So I'm considering building it from scratch off BL. It's around 1000 parts so it's should be doable, more easily than the UCS Millenium Falcon anyway.
If anyone here has this set, I'd like to know if it's worth it or if it's too much of a hassle for the quality of the set ?

I absolutely adore the Lego DC stuff but I really wouldn't care if they did a UCS tumbler. Would rather something like the Burton bat mobile or the BTAS mobile.

Same :( Tumblr is old hat. Really tired of the Nolanverse entirely. It's very grounded take was fresh and interesting, but overall just not a great fit or Batman. Glad it's over.

Maybe they'll give us something with multiple builds though, that would make for a very interesting UCS product. Probably too hopeful though.
