Apparently the cartoon series is continuing again next year, and there is also the upcoming Ninjago movie in September 2016. Personally, i think it would be a good idea to take a breather in releasing sets between now and the movie. We shall see...

Are the Ninjago sets still popular? This last wave was so....meh and uninspired.

I don't know shit about Ninjago and don't care much for it, but I think the temple in 70728 looks real good. I would almost cave in and get it, if it weren't so expensive.

Brain and body fried from work this week. I need to disassemble more stuff. Debating about adding Ewok Village to the collective or keeping it separate to display later. Whenever I take down Simpson's House, that is going into the collective though.

Been itching to start a Halloween diorama again, but I have months before that.

On a more positive note, things are looking better here after a rough few months. My wife has two interviews lined up in the next two weeks, so major life changes might come soon.

And birthday is in a few weeks, so hoping for money to get some sets. Depending on the money, debating between Sea Cow or getting GOTG Milano and SPACESHIP! among a few others.

Have to do this with my modulars. Thinking to keep them out of my main collection to aid rebuilding or possible sale later. How do you store them separately? Just ziplock bags or something else?

Also wondering whether to buy the palace cinema and restaurant to maintain a complete collection, or just let it lapse and accept a part collection. I'm not really a completionist, but the modulars are a bit special.

Need to sell my unopened Ninjago fire temple and 2xhelms deep, along with opened and built sopwith camel too, to make some space and free up funds for more lego.

Modulars will always be valuable. Don't mix the parts with other stuff.

Oh, and speaking of modulars, I finished the interiors for Cafe Corner

That is a musket, and it is just in there loose, probably propped up against the chest. Just one of the antiquities in the attic.

ahhh makes sense. I ended up having the musket poking out the chest.

Finished it earlier, I'll need to find some non-glowing ghosts for the ghostbusters to fight outside cos the glow in the dark ones will annoy me at night. I wonder if they have them at the make-a-fig bits in the store.

So all the summer wave stuff(including Star Wars and the 2 missing City arctic sets) should hopefully be out on Monday in the U.S...

Does anybody have an opinion one way or another about the old LEGO Studio sets? I regret not getting them years ago but it's not like I had money (Yeah, like I do now? ':3) back then as a kid. Thinking of hunting for the old Spidey-themed ones for the Dafoe-Goblin minifig specifically. I suppose I should hit Bricklink, huh?

Ice Breaker - $130

Supply Plane - $50

I always forget that the main draw of the second set is the plane, not the plow. I think I've only even seen the set once and I didn't even register the plane hahaha

Recently bought a NIB copy of the Recon Robot from the Spyrius line. It's a nice little set, the mech isn't that complicated and is obviously inferior to the big mech but all in all, a nice little set.

Didn't know if some may care or not but I got my Iron Man Hero Factory set from *coughalternatesourcescough*

Wasn't interested in these sets at all, got this to try and recreate that hulkbuster armor like i'm sure most would want this for. I was actually surprised how kind of cool the set was anyways. Ball joints are tight, armor clip on pieces so-so don't have the original to compare but looks pretty damn good to me. Only missing one technic piece.

instruction book was surprisingly pretty thick for one of these um..sets...and even included instructions for multiple builds and mash up builds with other sets.

For those wondering took little under 2 weeks to get it, but i'm still waiting on phoenix/dbz fig sets I ordered at same time but were from different seller.

I did receive my first bricklink order today to, a baseplate and tile pieces to make a proper Iron Man armory.

I like this latest wave of Ninajo. All the better if they hit the clearance bin for me.

I wish, I would love to go to SDCC

Of course you won't be there? ;)

So many rumors. Why would LEGO not confirm any of this?

I dunno, maybe get more people to order online? Also, sometimes quantities are limited for in store during initial release. Best they don't advertise it's in store and run out immediately.

It's from a reliable source. Next time I'm in a LEGO store I'll as some brick specialists if they know if it will be in the store. Stuff like those sets sometimes are in stock in the backroom. Staff usually can't say they have them in the backroom, but sometimes they confirm it will be available in store on release date (i.e. it's in the backroom).

WTF?! $130 for the Ice Breaker? Why so much?

Oh yeah, TRU has a buy one get one 40% off this week.

Café Corner finished! I'll write a proper review and building guide later, as well as a general "how to collect old sets on Bricklink" guide. Right now it's too hot to do anything more than sit down and watch TV.

This is a really, really good modular though. If you can get it somehow, do so!

Well, its official: Ill be purchasing the ECTO-1 on Tuesday. However, it won't be for me. It'll be for my three year old daughter. She loves GhostBusters for some odd* reason. She was looking through the LEGO mag on my coffee table and saw the set....she just about freaked out.

*odd only because of her age and I'm not sure when she has actually watched it.
prob at her mother's house

Cool, can't wait for that. I must try to get those old modulars someday. Sooner rather than later ;)

Your daughter is awesome :)

Not really surprising, most sets like these are out day and date via official stores

I think there are two factors that have people worried about Exo-suit release:

- Mark Stafford said currently there is only one production run so get it as more is not guaranteed.

- LEGO retail stores never got the Mars Rover Curiosity and was only available online.

These factors may cause LEGO resellers/speculators to hoard the sets and others to buy a few more set than planned. I know I will get at least two now and more later. I was originally planning on getting only one and wait for double points to get more.

That box art is terrible!

That's the general consensus.

Don't Lego box arts typically use a photo of the actual product in them?

I think that's why I dislike the Exo-Suit box so much. It looks like a cheap 3D render instead of the actual product.

Idk. The sets on the box always look like they were waxed and polished...

The box art is always a 3D render these days

There's been a comment on all the limited speculation, sourced from the comments here

While there’s always going to be speculation, I hope to calm some of the more extreme concerns: Deciding how much of a product to produce is both art and science. For any LEGO product we must balance producing enough to meet demand with not over-producing.

We (LEGO Ideas team) recognize the popularity of sets like the Exo Suit and make our best efforts to meet demand. We also learn and adapt from experiences where our estimates are off, and we sincerely hope you’re able to secure an Exo Suit or two for your own hangar bay if you so desire.

Personally I can't wait to get my copy of this set. My all-time favorite minifig is the red Futuron, but I'll make space in my heart for Pete and Yve, the green Classic Space figs! :)

It's time to kick off 2015 set rumors/info with CITY Police!

60065 Police ATV
60066 Police Transport Hovercraft
60067 Police Helicopter
60068 Crook Shelter
60069 Water Police
60071 Police Chase on Transport Hovercraft

The names are translated from Russian, but you can probably get the basic gist of it. Personally, I envision 60069 as a squad of H2O enforcers, armed with clubs to smack anyone who leaves the tap running.

Fucking hope this is true. I hate HERO Factory so much.

If bionicle really does comes back I'm gonna be so excited. As a kid I was mostly a bionicle guy rather than a Lego guy (yeah yeah I know bionicle is Lego but they don't normally use many 'traditional' Lego pieces). I bought almost every single one.

I just hope they make the designs more creative. I kind of stopped caring about them late in their run because the overall builds started to feel sort of felt uninspired and samey. (Overall pretty much the same design but new armor pieces, etc.)
