Let's Talk About PlayStation VR: List of Upcoming Titles

Doesn't look like most supports it. :/

I guess I can assume some in the list we just don't know if support is confirmed or not?

Exactly, more will be reveal when we get closer to launch.

This OP is based on all the data I could find, and with the help of you guys of course :p

Full games though or experiences?

Thanks guys!

Here They Lie is a full horror game.

Paranormal Activity and Until Dawn could be considered experiences depending on the persons views.

Edit:

Update, Pool Nation VR has gone gold for the PSVR version and has been submitted for certification so it can be a PSVR launch title in October. News out of left field!

For someone that doesnt play a lot of racing games, how would you guys describe the difference between drive club and gran turismo franchises. I want to get one for psvr but since they are going to release around the same time dont know which to get.

Some new details about Star Wars Battlefront VR have been revealed via the PS Blog.

The mission will coincide with the Rogue One time period.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016...wars-battlefront-rogue-one-x-wing-vr-mission/

Cool.

I will not look at that Batman gameplay....I'm waiting.

Anyway I am all set in regards to hardware for PSVR. My pre-order is paid for and my two Move controllers, camera and charge station arrived today. I'm ready.

Same lol, gonna try not to really watch it. I just need it.

Ubisoft got new fact sheets for gamescom and I found some new release dates, for Europe at least.

On PS VR, Eagle Flight is coming November 8th digitally and in retail November 15th. It will be out October 18th on Oculus and December 20th on Vive.

Werewolves Within is coming out December 6th for PS VR, Oculus and Vive.

The Star Trek : Bridge Crew fact sheet doesn't mention release date.

Also, have some french packshots and remember... "vous aurez besoin de ça !"

Hopefully Bridge Crew will get one soon then.

Not sure if this was already posted, but Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will have 4 locations to explore as bonus VR content.

http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2016/07/23/deus-ex-mankind-divided-dev-talks-aaa-vr-support/

Mankind Divided will support VR, though. Players will have four locations to explore in their VR headsets, including Adam Jensen’s apartment which we saw at E3 2016.

Oh, neat bonus, I missed this post that day. Getting the game anyway so this is kinda cool.

I remember seeing a video a while back for what I thought was a psvr game. It's a future racer with a crap load of neon and lasers that would slice your car in half.

What was that called??

Coming to psvr??

Edit: Found it on the list. Called Distance. The video I watched s while back had a cockpit view. Didn't show that in the trailer. Hope they didn't remove it!

Interesting didn't the eagle flight devs say at E3 they were gonna be a PSVR launch title? Guess I'll have to edit the OP. Thanks for the new info, nice box arts too :p

Does battlezone have a multiplayer mode?

Hasn't been revealed yet but hinted at.

As for the game itself, there will be a campaign with “lots of replayability”; Jones also gave a pretty huge hint that multiplayer will be featured in the game, saying that Battlezone is powered by their own Asura engine which is very much focused at its core on networking and multiplayer technology.

Anyone have tought where to put the PSVR when is not in use???

I'm thinking of purchasing this / to have something like this:
"Forever Young Black Glossy Professional Male Mannequin Head" (about $45)

Yup, I've been having similar thoughts. Searching eBay for "glass mannequin head" brings results starting at approx £12. Handy for storing headphones, too.

My original plan was to get a phrenology head, cause I thought it might be neat, but the prices and aesthetics don't work. Now I think I'm going to get a blue-tint glass head.

Only other question is how long the cable from processing unit to headset junction box is. Ideally I'd like to hide it in the same trunking I use for the rear surround speakers.

Gamestop and Best Buy are selling this docking station..

I'd buy it if it didn't have the single controller port. Makes it look jankie.

I'm not sure if I must get Battlefront (25€ right now) for the VR mision, or get EVE instead...

I'm really hoping there's a standalone version of that. The way they presented the game, it seemed standalone to me at first. If it ends up only being an add-on..

edit: Just looked at Super Stardust VR, wow.. I didn't know it was going to be like this. I thought it'd be mostly exactly like the original game, but with the possibility to look around or something. I may consider getting that now.

I have a question VR-as a consumer could I return this if it makes me sick? I can't think of another consumer device that may have an effect on you that you wouldn't know until you had the product.

Uk gaffer here, so no demo units yet. I have it on order with Tesco direct so can always use the distance selling regs to send it back, I guess.

I think all the other modes except that new one do play from the same perspective as the original versions.

You'll just get the extra VR stereoscopic depth and ability to look around more.

I don't know about Uk laws regarding returns, but I know here in Canada, at least in Quebec I could return it.

you should be able to return it... at least in europe you have a few days to return everything you buy with the exception of movies, music and games.

Stardust VR... why would anyone buy it when is Battlezone also on release?

Also Battlefront is right now 25€ on PSN... a standalone version of a free DLC is unlikely to happen.... even less if is just one mission.

If you already own Ultra you get it for free. If I'm not mistaken.

Best of all, this amazing offering will be free for all owners of Star Wars Battlefront on PS4. Millions of you have joined the Star Wars Battlefront community since the game’s launch in December and we couldn’t think of a better reward for that loyalty and take your experience to a completely new level.

No word about Deluxe or Definitive, so the standard version will get the DLC for free

He's talking about Stardust, not Battlefornt.

I would kill for a pinball arcade VR :(

That would be great. Zen pinball would translate really well I assume to VR. Would love Move support to add to the feel, but I guess it'd get exhausting holding your hands to the buttons with nothing to actually hold on to.

It's what convinced me to ditch my Amazon.co.uk Oculus Rift pre-order and keep my PSVR. PSVR is going to be epic.

I see you made your final decision. :)

Welcome to the family
, son!

Thanks both! On mobile atm so couldn't quote you both.

Yes, we have the same EU regs governing distance selling, which is essentially no quibble. I wonder what the policy would be for a bricks and mortar store, though? No such legal recourse, unless it's objectively faulty.

I hope to see more RIGs gameplay. I really enjoy watching people play that game.

Still torn about RIGS; for a long time it was a day 1 purchase, but now it's got a lot of competition. It's also priced at £49.99 on SEN (available in 55 days time!), which seems a bit excessive.

Both RIGS and Eve are now in the 'maybe' list. Battlezone, Driveclub and Rez are in the day 1 list. Recent impressions of Rogue One X-wing are pushing me towards grabbing Battlefront in the next sale, too. So many games to choose between, plus a Neo, PSVR and maybe a T150 wheel. It's going to be expensive...
