The new system is easy enough to understand. If your blog is the all-butts-all-the-time type, then you fall under the "adult" label. If you post some penis every once in a while in between your steady diet of One Direction GIFS, then you fall under the "NSFW" label.

But nudie pictures will be almost impossible to find unless you already have a well-curated RSS feed or bookmark folder of Tumblr porn from now on. NSFW and adult content won't appear in search engine results (like Google or Yahoo or Bing) or Tumblr's tracked-tag searches.

Damn this is huge. Practically every porn related keyword search on Google returned tumblr links among the top results... that will be no more. Meaning HUGE traffic disappearing in an instant.

They've walled it in like Flickr basically, which really sucks. Every time someone asks me to see my photography, I tell them it's on Flickr which means they need to create an account, be logged in, AND find the safesearch option deep in their settings before they can view the photos. What a hassle.

Speaking of gingers... the guy I was seeing recently is one, and he has the most glorious ginger beard, each hair is so thick and rough like a broom!

There are thousands of pictures out there, but the best are behind membership walls with strict guidelines of not sharing pictures outside of the sites. Most don't understand how hot they are.

Does anyone have any examples of well-written gay characters? I'm starting work on an anthology series and at least one of the guys is gay and I don't feel like totally shaming my people if he's awfully written. :lol

The best gay characters are ones that are important and don't stick out solely because they're gay. Them being gay would just show up in something like discussing love interests, unless you make an issue about it in the series that becomes a struggle of some kind.

Max from Happy Endings is well written, for sure. Hot, I don't think so, he's too much of a mess.
There was this one character in this book The Steel Remains. It's fantasy and the fact that he's gay is brought up a lot because most cultures in that world aren't really down with the gays, but in the end he's just another character with PTSD.

One of my favorite quote is from the author of A Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones) when asked how does he write such good female characters:

George Stroumboulopoulos: There’s one thing that’s interesting about your books. I noticed that you write women really well and really different. Where does that come from?
George R.R. Martin: You know, I’ve always considered women to be people.

I think that's totally applicable to gay characters. Don't focus on them being gay but also don't shy from it.

If our criteria is just that it be well written (and pederastic instead of decidedly gay, though a person could make that inference), then Gustav von Aschenbach from Thomas Mann's Death in Venice, originally published in 1912, the running theme is basically ruination though so it's not exactly meant to be a comfortable experience :p

I guess Maurice by EM Forster might be more of the latter type.

I also like Anthony Blanche from Brideshead Revisited.

last night a person emailed me on A4A and said he was writing on behalf of his client and thought we might be a good match. Apparently he is a physician's assistant named Michael. He asked for my email and my name and sensing this was some kind of bot started asking questions trying to figure out what this guy's job actually was (and if he was really a bot). He evaded questions and answered some. I wouldn't give him my email and said if he wanted to contact me he should create his own profile.

This was the strangest conversation I've had online before. Surely there are better ways of getting email addresses. What the fuck happened? Was this guy really a Republican politician?

Oh, and read this exchange from bottom to top. Otherwise it wont make much sense.

Personal favorites are Kevin and Scotty from Brothers & SIsters. Realistic, relatable, affecting, heartbreaking.

Look up celebrities such as Kevin James. He's quite cute. I'm attracted to bigger guys as well as fit and muscular ones. I like the belly, provided its not too big and the person with it is not hairy.

Kevin James looked hot in that film in which he learns to fight and appears shirtless in several scenes. he started training and went form being chubby to quite muscled, though.

he once came to Germany to promote a film and he left a bad impression on me.

he behaved like an American guy that feels like he stepped in another planet as soon as he leaves America. All time he looked like he was thinking "I can't wait til I can get back home to watch football, drink bear and leave this weird place ", you know, Homer Simpson attitude.

as a big man, he's definitely hot though.

and Pupi, you've got nice cheeks :D
