I prefer these "what a relief"-dreams to those where I dream of having awesome stuff just to have it taken away when I open my eyes. Sometimes I would desperately try to get back into the dream, but usually it fails.

It's strange how much more crushing that kind of failure feels in comparison to the many varied types of physical harm and mental stress that appear in dreams just as frequently. I guess being significantly more common and grounded helps a lot in making it more tangible.

Also I feel we consolidate our fear of pain and stress with the knowledge that most of the time it has an ending. We eventually get over pain, but I know for me I cant ever seem to let go of my failures.

From what I remember, the social obligation was the reason for desensitising myself to sugarless black coffee; but it's not exactly a pure example as I already liked most kinds of mocha, Turkish coffee and affogato, so I didn't have to overcome much of an aversion to the taste itself.

What in particular do you find distasteful about olives? Does your revulsion only apply to them when raw, or do you find it impossible to enjoy them even as an ingredient - also, do you have different levels of scorn for green and black olives?

All kinds, it seems. They're overwhelming to me, and it's not really like I have a very sharp palate, I can eat a lot of strong, bitter, or spicy things, but olives (and blue cheese, come to think of it) is just too much for me. Oh, and single malt scotch will probably never not taste like jet fuel to me.

Anyways, I recently signed up in Manhunt, and boy howdy. That site is something else. I recently started a conversation with a guy that's interested in me, and he seems like a nice guy and all, but I'm not attracted to him at all, not not even in the slightest. Point of the story is, he's part of the staff of my favorite band ever, and they're gonna be giving a concert in may. This guy says he invites me to the event, and if I want introduce me to the band as well. Obviously he wants me to meet him and is trying to convince me with that sweet sweet offer, but I don't know. What should I do?
