I think the comic with the cat is referring to the alpha and beta male thing in Yaoi, no?
Oh, Blind Guardian! I listened to them like ages ago. I still like Otherland and listen to it from time.

(except excessive and overly-forgiving portrayals of rape, I...think)
The "beta male" is more often than not the female stand-in anyway. The reason for this is I think a historical one, but it's not entirely clear to me.

Thanks. I wouldn't expect Denmark to prohibit gay men from donating blood.
Apparently no prohibited per se, but it does require the donor not to have sex with another men for at least 1 year before donating, according to the wiki.

It's the same in the UK, it's just ridiculous when you consider that even people in monogamous relationships who only have protected sex will still be an automatic nope unless they haven't done anything in the last 12 months.

I rather wish I had someone to do that with together tbh. Being / taking stuff in alone wouldn't really be some refreshingly new experience. But tops of mountains are cool, not denying that.
No parks or fields where you live? Hm, if you're in a big American city, that must feel pretty unattainable, yeah. But if not, I recommend you go for a walk at night, when everyone's sleeping or at home to take in the quiet by yourself. Then again, nights in America are never portrayed as being too safe either, no matter where you live. Huh, consider me privileged then, I guess. Just came back from jogging around our two little lakes. Not that there were no cars whatsoever nearby, but there's a nice little hill with some benches and past midnight that would be an awesome romantic place to just take a break from busy interconnected life. Tho I won't ever find someone who would be that weird and go there with me at night prbly^^. Hopeless romantic me be. But I'm really looking forward to my trip to Austria. Going for a walk at night around the village, you can see all the stars that light polluted city skies never show you. Most people today don't understand our ancestors' obsession with stars and their mythology and stuff. But that's because the skies of our ancestors were something only the fewest people today even get to experience. Rather sad actually.
