Had a good meeting at my LGBT organizations.
It feels so good to go.
We talked about mentaln illness prevalence in the community and coming out stories as well.

Amazing, right? I'm so happy that Wizards thinks trans representation is important, they're really a great company.
Also, they gave Alesha a fantastic card. She's like an undercosted Sun Titan!
I love the card and I hate that I can't fit her in my Cube :/
kinda want to go to 450 to get her in.
She's definitely going in my tiny leaders cube, but I don't think she makes the cut in most 360 card cubes.
They really pushed complexity through the roof in FRF. It's impossible to find room for all the awesome new stuff that's coming out.

I just finished Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance today. Now I've narrowed down my next games to a few choices:
-Keep playing Suikoden 1 (playing it before trying II)
-Keep playing Circle of the Moon (started before getting the good HoD ending)
-Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
-Keep playing Final Fantasy VIII (my favourite, though I've never finished it or any FF game)
-Resident Evil HD Remake
-Metroid Prime Trilogy
I honestly may just split my time between them all. I have gaming ADD. XD

When you play Prime 2: Echoes, try not to leave it sitting for a few days, because learning the map is hard, if you leave it you will probably get too confused and frustrated trying to make your way. But the map should be the least of your concerns about that game, it's one Nintendo-hard games for the Gamecube.

Just drove home and not ready for bed. I love driving so much. I never get to do long enough drives to hear all the songs I want to hear. The drive between home and the university is about 2.5hrs, but I always make a stop at McDonald's about 45 minutes in. Nothing more relaxing than singing "Laid" by James at blasting high volumes on the highway at night.

You wouldn't know, unless you read their website. On their website, her story is actually well written and surprisingly not a "struggles of being trans" story.
In terms of other LGBT characters - no, none we have seen. And they still struggle a lot with "titmonsters" for their female characters.

Garruk was always my least favorite of the designs. Probably because of how different from Freyalise, my basis for a green walker, he was. It's the same reason I think I liked Chandra the best out of the first 5 Bradywalkers- she was Jaya with about half the Sarcasam.

I was introduced to Magic The Gathering in middle school and started playing it. Then a friend told me to buy those plastic card sleeves to protect my stack, so I did but I accidentally got a giant box of Yu-Gi-Yoh sleeves, which are smaller than Magic cards. For some reason I decided to cut the borders off my cards so that they can fit in the sleeves, not knowing that I was breaking some massive cardinal rules, lol. I was excommunicated so fucking fast, but when I think back on it I'm like "goddamn that was so punk rock of me." I had some super rare ones too. Such an idiot. lol

Last year I became friends with this dude. I'll call him Ace. I wasn't particularly attracted to Ace. A few months ago, I slowly started developing a crush on Ace. And the feelings have only intensified over time. At first it didn't really get in the way of my friendship with him, but I'm starting to really just not enjoy his company because at this point I'm wanting more than just friendship out of the relationship. I feel like "that guy" who crushes on a girl that just views him as a friend, and then just hangs out with her hoping that one day she'll decide to view him as more than a friend. Except this is even more pathetic because Ace is straight, so the possibility of that unrealistic scenario happening is even lower. I kind of just want to break off the friendship but this would be awkward because we're in the same classes this semester. And I feel it would be kind of an assholish thing to do to just break off a friendship out of (from his perspective) nowhere. So what should I do? Just bear with it until I graduate in May, and then avoid any long-distance internet contact? That seems to be the best strategy. But I feel like I'm just going to get increasingly frustrated hanging out with him as time goes on, especially if I have it in my mind to just never speak to him again after May.

Strike up conversations about topics where you think he would have a different opinion from your own, that's usually a good catalyst to crush withdrawals. I had a crush on a straight guy (which is rare for me honestly) until I realized that he was super religious, which turned me off. Once you find those differences you'll sub-consciously start deconstructing the notion that you two are compatible, which over time can poison all those nice fuzzy feelings you have towards him right now. So stick it out now and be a friend for him, and stress the key characteristics of his that would totally be a dealbreaker for you.
Yeah it's totally nerd treason. Magic fans legit get mad at me when I tell that story. lol
