Yeah, that's what we agreed on. I'm probably just being dumb. I'm nervous because I haven't met up with anyone in too long. And the experience I mentioned earlier doesn't help my confidence.

I think maybe grindr works a little different over here because many of the guys I've seen in it don't seem to be looking for casual sex. Maybe I'm wrong.

Well if you guys are meeting up in public I think you shouldn't worry too much. Have a nice conversation, grab a drink or something to eat and see how things go. The worst that can happen is that there is no compatibility and the date is awkward and that is not gonna kill you. Actually in the other hand it will help you see what you like to do for dates and ease up with future conversations.

Nearly all sexually active people get HPV in their life, but the cancers in men are uncommon. HPV generally goes away on its own.

It's not remotely of the gravity of AIDS in the 70s.

My concern is more HSV than HPV, since herpes sticks around for life and can be transmitted mouth-to-genital and the reverse. Thankfully, the worst thing about herpes is the stigma (rather than the health risk), but it's still something I think about.

To any readers: I'm a huge worrywart and hypochondriac, so please don't let anything I say scare you.

Lady Gaga just released a song (cowritten with Diane Warren) about sexual assault. The video is graphic and made me very uncomfortable watching it, so if anyone is sensitive when it comes to this topic, I suggest watching with extreme caution. From the video description: "A portion of proceeds from the sale of the song will be donated to organizations helping survivors of sexual assault." It's from the film The Hunting Ground.

I can't deal with that thread where people are in agreement with what that Arrow actor said about the Ahmed situation.

Sorry, but white peoples from Texas getting upset that shade is being thrown at them is not the same as racial profiling a child who got arrested. Stereotypes suck, but I don't see the point of making such a dumb ass Twitter rant. Why is it when something happens to minorities, there are always white people trying to compare and equate one of their struggles? There is no comparisons, bye.

tbh they complain about "pc society" but are weak as fuck when they have to face something similar to what pretty much any minority has to face on a daily basis, it's fucking hilarious.

At the very least, ignorant and oblivious enough to equate calling for the slightest amount of accountability on their part to entrenched prejudices that regularly threaten people's lives, and that's being charitable. And then there's the even more thinly veiled outbursts of the 'but why can't I hit women' and 'if I did that to [...] I'd be called [...]' brigade that can always be counted on to rear their heads.

watching the latest ANTM episode I wonder how straight people react to gay centric commercials. I can't think of many gays who would avoid a deodorant because a dude was sucking a woman's face in the ad. are there straight people wearing Andrew Christian?

I had a date with a guy last night who had been in a relationship since he was 19 (hes 33). They broke up a year ago. Should that worry me? I dont think it should but I cant really describe what it makes me feel. And its only one date so its not like hes at the boyfriend stage by any means.

I ended up going over to his place last night and we hung out with some of his friends (one them I've actually been friends with since middle school and it was kinda weird at first, but I got comfortable after a while). We just decided to order a pizza, watch movies, and yeah, it was just a really nice time (almost fell asleep on him while we were on the couch, but I managed to wake up to get home lol)
