So please guys, be safe! I know condoms suck but would you rather deal with blood test that cost $1000 every 3 months, and medication that cost $2500 a month for the rest of your life? (those are ofcourse if you didn't have insurance...)

Ah yeah, seen that way I guess he's right.

And unless you're having unprotected sex repeatedly, regular testing isn't really necessary tbh. More power to you if you do it of course.

One day I was sick and i watch like all of future diary, thats probably the most i had ever binged on one day.

Bareback. My husband didn't know he had it and I made the choice to not use condoms, and that is the result. I found out in 2013, about a year after we first met. So I may have possibly had it since 2012, but I did not start medication until January 2015.

That is why I preach to others please don't make the same mistakes, it's awful and that is why there are so many programs for assistance with it. But things could always go awry someday where the medication may stop working or it destroys your liver or kidneys (which is the reason for the blood tests every 3 months). I am currently undetectable.

That's okay. As a native speaker, I'm terrible at catching a ton of English lyrics, and then in the one other language I have some semblance of proficiency in, I can't understand anything until I read the lyrics first. I'm sure you're doing much better than most!

I don't get tested after every single sexual encounter. But I do think it's smart for all people (gay, straight, whatever) to get tested regularly once they're sexually active. And three months is usually the safe standard (sometimes 6 months) because that's the window period where everything can be detected.

It's not necessarily paranoia for me. I consider it smart and healthy.. and not an inconvenience in the grand scheme of things.

Those are usually good to tell when a person DOESN'T have HIV. They are very sensitive, but they are not very Specific, which means a positive results in one of those tests doesn't necessarily mean you've got HIV, it could be interference from other stuff. Of course this depends on the test and where you got it etc, etc. But usually if you get a positive result in one of those they will then proceed to a more specific test, and those may take a little bit longer (that's probably why yours took a couple of weeks to get ready).

I'm mildly excited for the NX. Won't make the same mistake I made with the 3DS and buy it at launch though. Actually I'm never buying a gaming system at launch ever again, there's almost never actual good games to play at the time. People just prop up mediocre games because there's nothing else.
