Chain pizza is edible but I prefer the local Chicago places. Quality is on a whole different level.
I like FF8, but only the first disc. The battle system is fun and the music is amazing, but it falls apart after that. Also that Squall/Rinoa thread, lmao. Fei and Elly are tops in terms of Square-Enix romance, tbqh. Anyone who disagrees hasn't played Xenogears and felt the impact.

FFIX may be my fave, but even I get annoyed by the slow as fuck ATB. Its a shame but as I grow ever more impatient that game becomes more unplayable for me.
Also, FFX-2 does have potentially the best ATB and best Job Class systems in the series so I can't fault you for preferring it. I'm just not a fan of a lot of the story bits although it has been a while since I've played it and I've not yet bought the FFX/X-2 HD remaster so maybe I'll get on that soon.

IMO people were a bit too harsh with FF X-2 all over the all female cast and Jpop. The OST is amazing if you actually bother to listen to it and really a different kind of beast compared to the usual FF OSTs. Also the story not taking itself too seriously and the girl power behind it was refreshing at the time.
As for FF9 I hope we eventually get a remake that fixes the ATB.

Least favorite: Vaan and Zidane. Seeing all these FF9 stans coming out of the woodwork lately reminds me how awful Zidane is Lord have mercy. By far the worst lead character of the series. Ruins an otherwise decent game imo

I don't normally do chain pizza, they're more of a last resort option. But out of all of the chains, Dominos is best. Pizza Hut do 'just about acceptable' levels of pizza. The only good thing about them is their all-you-can-eat deal for £10. But, yeah, Chicago Town pizza all the way.
I can only hope for FF9 Remake, but that'll probably never happen even if FF7 Remake turns out to be a ginormous success.
And I'm with you on the X-2 soundtrack for the most part. I still regularly listen to Real Emotion and Eternity is the second best title theme in the series. I also think I would've like the story itself more if it had been a separate game rather than a continuation of X. I just had an attachment to Yuna and I didn't like what happened to her character.
Chain Pizza is gross to me, there's usually too much dough, and said dough is sickeningly sweet. They're also too greasy most of the time and the cheese quality is blegh.
But most people I know who enjoy them don't really consider chain pizza to be actual pizza, just like a lot of people don't consider fast food burgers the same way they'd see a "real" burger. Different mindset when you get those.

"Chain pizza" is very foreign to me. We do have Pizza Hut in Sweden but I've never tried it. We also have "Billys Pan Pizza" that you buy frozen and heat at home which I guess comes sorta close? I enjoyed them before but now I just find them icky. Too much grease and too sweet. The ham is usually really blehg too.
When I eat pizza nowadays it's either something like kebab pizza (with lettuce)
or me and my partner split a "Calskrove" which is a Calzone (with the usual stuff in it) with a huge hamburger meal inside. It sounds really crazy and looks disgusting, but it's way nommier than it should be...

Lightning is amazing. Her look, her tough as nails attitude, she's a badass. Since Final Floptasy XV is a complete sausage fest and with Stella being removed leaving no cool female characters smh, people will begin to appreciate her in time! You'll see! You'll all see!

Thankfully we have VII Remake to look forward to. That's impossible to mess up, right?....................

Implement all the useless story shit Crisis Core and the other FF7 spin-offs added Actually, if there is one things that they are guaranteed to mess up, it is the FFVII remake. It is impossible to please everyone, and the slighest change will definitly cause an uproar. If they add some story elements from the prequels/sequels, expect a mob. If the fighting system is no longer ATB (and it probably won't be the same), except two sides of the internet raging flame wars about whether it is a good change or not. If they change or dumb down some things (Cid's swearing, Honey Bee Inn, Corneo's house, Hojo expecting Aerith and Red XIII to breed, JENOVA leaving a messy and bloody trail behind her in the Shinra tower, the possibility to go on a date with Barret), people will yell that the game is ruined forever.
Call me jaded, but there are just too many things that they can mess up. I'll refrain from spending times on forums when the game is out: between the "spoilers" and other reactions, the atmosphere will certainly be toxic.
As for FFXV... My feelings can be summed up as "meh". We know too little, this game has been in the works for a decade, they changed a lot of things, and the gameplay could use some tweaking it seems. The waiting game left me uninterested (and the FFXIII trilogy really didn't strenghten my faith in Square-Enix ~ quite the opposite, really).
