That LGBT in the gaming industry thread... Dude on first page has me completely perplexed, it's rare to see such an intense misunderstanding of sexuality...

Edit: wow it gets worse...

How dare you be perplexed? Respect his opinion.

My mom wants to watch Moonlight with me... not sure how I feel about that, I'm sure she doesn't know what it's actually about... this is gonna be awkward lmao

Read the whole thread, I'm pretty sure "but opinions!" dude and "who cares" dude are both trolls(low post count and ignoring people who had the patience to respond calmly). "Sexuality is only about actions and I don't understand how sexuality works" dude is probably genuine in his ignorance which is really fucking sad.

Rest of the thread was nice at least.

I've seen that video shared on facebook a lot and I always wait to comment on how noticeably fake that hairline looks.

Oh goodness, I was being sarcastic haha. We live in a world where opinions are being used defensively when someone is just plain wrong.

Oh I was just commenting on that particular poster, I know you were being sarcastic don't worry :p "But respect mah opinions" is such a frustrating and weak as shit argument, I find it insufferable too.

I was going to say my receding hairline isn't as bad as that guy in the gif but I just looked in the mirror. :( I probably wouldn't use it though.

Drunk post: I actually find most celebrities unattractive. Might be because they are portrayed as perfect or are 1℅ of the population. I find regular guys/gals attractive.

I sorta agree, to an extent. For example, I find people like Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson "too perfect," because they almost seem fake and unsettling -- like there's no uniqueness to them. And I find that I become more and more attracted to someone the more I'm with them, "flaws" and all.

But, of course, I still find plenty of celebs attractive too, so I'm far from consistent on that front.

Well, I just see these guys with six pack abs, hairless below their head, and muscular bodies. I know the average guy/gal isn't that well maintained and they aren't the end all be all.

A lot of the typical By the numbers male celebrities that people gush about don't do anything for me either. Brad Pitt? Meh. Channing Tatum? ULTRA meh. Some of them are hot though, like Chris Evans.

Of all the generic hot men in Hollywood those two definitely don't fit the "flawless" mold. I mean, Taylor looks like an Alpaca, his face is pretty unique.

And see, I'm a Brad Pitt > Chris Evans guy, although I think Chris Hemsworth is the most overrated one.

I definitely see your point in some pics, but I'm referring to stuff like this:

The skin looks almost plastic, and like nothing is out of place. It looks unnatural to me.

It's not that I find them unattractive but the women who call to me are not the usual suspects.

Like to me Julian Moore, Alyson Hannagin and Emily Blunt are the three most beautiful women in the world and I just don't see what everyone else does in Scarlet, Jlaw or Taylor Swift.

Yeah but that pic is heavily photoshopped. I do understand what you're getting at though.

I get a little of that too. Like, for me, Jewel Staite (Kaylee in Firefly) is essentially my perfect woman. She looks so damn cute and has such a friendly, girl-next-door look to her.

She's obviously beautiful, but I don't think she's the traditional Hollywood definition of "stunning" yet I'd take her over pretty much any other actress.

Um, I like Levitt and Hiddleston.

Re: Levitt, I like him a lot too. Again, I think it's a boy-next-door thing as well. I prefer essentially average body types and am not really a fan of bulging muscles. And with Levitt, I'm lucky that I found a gay porn star that kinda gives me his vibes: Evan Parker.

Not one to one, but I hope you can at least see a bit of the resemblance.

Glad to see that the community is so alive and well here. It was the first time I have ever had a threesome, but it's not something I would want to do all the time. Like if I'm gonna do a threesome it has to be the same guy haha but he was only in town for the evening. Never experienced anything quite like it and ofcourse I was so shy but the guy made the first move on me and we went from there and spent a good 2-3 hours going at it. o_o And no, I did not have bareback sex with a stranger, what's good?

I was so exhausted at work today I could not concentrate lol. Has anyone else ever had threesomes and did you enjoy it? This was my first time and I did not think I would like it, but on the contrary.

So is Moonlight good? I have watched a ton of gay movies on Netflix but most of them seem to be garbage tier, a few have made me cry but. <_>

This woman's story about confronting her minister about being transexual is incredible, and the very simple conclusion of the video made me get emotional. She seems like she would be a wonderful person to know. The video is six minutes long.

It's mostly their excessive wealth that makes them not attractive to me. They never experienced live like I have. We couldn't be more alien to each other.

I still can appreciate seeing them without a shirt on but it doesn't go further than that.

I'm convinced that discussing the vocal fachs of female pop singers is one of the nerdiest things only gay men seem to engage in, and I live for that.

Nintendo Switch coming out Friday!

Also, it's tough to find someone who's interested in gaming as much as I do, haha. You look on Instagram, seeing all these couples, and I wonder how can I get one of those gaming-loving people?

Hmm, are you in the US? Gays near me seem to love video games (especially Nintendo). I've been talking with a couple of local gays about Switch on grindr recently.
I have also been challenged to Strip Smash Bros at least 2 different times

I just make my gaming tastes up front in my profile, since they're good conversation starters.

Many areas also have gaymer groups that can be fun to meet people at. They haven't worked for me, but others have reported success.
