LittleBigPlanet 2 Review thread

The destructioid review seems to be based on the story mode...and it makes sense as there are currently no community levels up in LBP2. At this point it's pretty premature to give the game a review in the first place, the community levels are where this games heart is.

When I finished the game on the 8th, there were 13 people on the Leaderboard who had completed the game's Story Mode, this number included me and it included Jim Sterling. In spite of this, there were 19 reviews (most of which were scored 9 or higher) in the OP of this thread.

It seems like there are a lot of premature reviews out there, but no one seems to care when they are score well.

Personally, I'm taking my time with my review. I'm going to write up multiple entries, journal-style, focusing on different aspects of the game.

Simple. Other reviewers were playing offline on CFW'ed PS3.

I respect a review that isnt a ten and all praise if its justified. First of all Im sure we have all disliked or have been unimpressed with high scoring games. Second if he felt the game was too similar or didn't like the physics then those are big factors. Crackdown 2 and Sonic 4 suffered for those reasons.

I played the game on my ps3 test unit first, which doesn't have access to the normal psn network. I assume it's the same for other reviewers (that's what I hope at least). I gave it a good score btw (the review is not up yet, but it's a
91%
)

That's odd, as I'd assume that would be the same case for IGN as well, but I see Greg Miller's gamertag on the Leaderboards. Miller did play the game to completion, by the way.

Edit: If people didn't finish the Story Mode, that's fine. The greater point I was trying to make is that it's only when someone speaks negatively about a game that people start flinging around accusations of the reviewer not fully playing the game.
