There should be a rule that if you don't get results then you don't get funding, or it drops progressively depending on results over a period of time.

Glad you aren't in control of anything. So basically, punish those that are doing badly and make sure they continue to do badly because they have no facilities to improve. WONDERFUL.

Why would that guy not shave that mole hair...oh my fucking god :lol

Could you at least tell me if its Silverlight or Flash?
Flash.

Bask in its glory-

It was a objective mistake by the refs. They calculated the difficulty wrong, it has nothing to do with the subjective, execution score.

Its amazing, how, even though the british commentators explained this clearly, people still think "boooooooo, japan cheated"

Yet you're jumping to similar conclusions with the fencing results. I don't fully understand it but it seems there was more to it than a timing error.

I wouldn't give them money if they're not producing results (this would be after a change of training) or at the very least less money if they're not up to a certain standard. I hear Korean archers get paid irregardless if they are Olympic level, so pay them but a lot less than they would if they were winning consistently. If they're full-time athletes then it gets treated as a promotion.

Either that or somehow instill some desire to win for winning's sake. Which isn't going to happen.

I think that already happens, and there's trials to get in the Olympic squad too.
Then the pool of competitors they're picking from must be pretty shallow.
