To be honest, here we would have deployed that much sooner considering the scale and the location specifically. I think it's beyond that point. Even if those are deployed now, I think it's in the head that they'll just wait it out and continue on. Unfortunately, things have escalated out of control. Be it from neutering the police there, to the limp-wristed response thus far by higher authorities. Things are going to scale more out of control unless measures are stepped up. It's clear that unarmed police presence with shields and riot gear are not effective, in fact, they're being attacked because they're not afraid of their response back. The rioters have the edge on the police, mentally, and physically, and thus the results will be bleak.

Thing about that picture is that pic isn't a demographic reflection of the area. There should be significantly more black peeps there. When I was walking around the area, it was predominantly young white girls/women with the broomsticks. It's not something I've blurted out randomly. There are several council estates behind that building on the left of the image. I was recording it today (posted vid earlier), and this are is usually filled with youths from those estates. Hardly any of them there today.
