I dont think im getting across the direness of the situation here:

DAMN, I want that set...

So badly.

But at the same time, I have seasons 1-5 on BR...

DAMNIT.

WHATS ON THE HIDDEN DISK? THATS SO AWESOME...

These aren't the big boy Emmys, they're the non-air ones.

Also a huge wat.son at 24 beating Lost in that category. Someone lost their mind.

24's soundtrack overall beat LOST's soundtrack overall

You've gotta be shittin' me, right?

24 music sounds like that brand of mass produced generic military fair ripped right out of Michael Bay film, unremarkable in every single way.

Can anyone sum up to me why they think Season 4 is the best season?

I mean I like it, but its definetly not one of my favourites.

It drags in the middle with the likes of "Eggtown" "The other Women" and "Ji Yeon"

and lets not forget "Something nice back home"

It was my favorite until season 6. I just think it was really tight with great pacing and thought it had by far the best finale until The End. Also thought it had the best music until the last season. Episodes like The Constant help, too.

I think you're batshit insane for not liking Ji Yeon. It was incredible and I cried like a bitch at the end. :lol

It was also Yunjin Kim's best performance in the whole show.

Yeah i gotta say the ending is very emotional.

But the rest of the episode...?

Although Jins "Give me the panda.... NOW!"

always makes me :lol

Season 4 is the best whole season, but the second half of Season 3 is superior.

The Panda episode was fantastic.

It never drags imo.

I think its by far the the tightest plotted and scripted of all the seasons.

Yeah, there's some episodes that aren't up to par with the rest, but Season 4 is the first season back after having a final end date and episode order, as well as shortened a bit due to the writer's strike, and it shows. It overall feels like the fastest paced and most focused season.

The only episode that mattered. This deserve every Emmy out there. "The End" is being nominated for no reason whereas "Ab Aeterno" should've been the one nominated.

Ab Aeterno was a great episode, but The End is a behemoth of an episode.

The worst episode in the series was Stranger in a Strange Land. Only episode in the whole show that could be called 'bad'.

Aside from "The End" being the greatest episode of LOST ever, yeah, definitely no reason. :D

I hope the hidden disc contains the deleted Sawyer episode. Just so we can see which episode is truly the worst.

Its funny whenever i watch LOST, my dad always leaves the room because he doesnt like it. So on my rewatch when i got to SiaSL i told him this was considered the worst episode of the whole show and he watched the whole thing and said it was quite good :lol

I've only seen it once but as I recall season 4 I didn't blow me away all that much. It just happens to contain The Constant aka the best episode ever.

I mostly didn't like what they did with the season finale. The S3 finale blew me away with the flashforward and WE HAVE TO GO BACK twist.
I wish they hadn't announced they were going to move the island a few episodes beforehand. Would have been a far greater mindfuck if it just disappeared without prior knowledge about what was going to happen.

Yeah but when Locke pronounced that "He wants us to move the island"

I remember me and my friend just looked at each other like WTF :lol

But then people would complain that things happened just for no reason.

I mean, the island just disappeared. How would an audience react to that?

The freighter, and everything it brought with it, was godly (sans Charlotte lol).

4 was the season of badasses.

So a little update for those of you who read my earlier posts about my dad watching Lost. He finished all five seasons earlier this month and for the next few days after that, he kept asking me when the final season was coming out on DVD. I tried to ask him a few things, but he kept saying stuff like "eh, the show isn't good anymore" basically cause of all the supernatural stuff and it's hard to keep up with things.

Anyways, so I mentioned to him the other day that this Tuesday is when the final season comes... and then he turns back into his old pre-Lost self and gives me a lecture on how so many people in the world are starving and I'm worried about Lost. My dad told me to wait until the final season is on sale for like $15-20, then I can get it. I'm extremely disappointed now and I pretty much regret getting my dad into the show. If he never had watched it, he wouldn't have paid attention to what I was buying and wouldn't have said anything probably, but now he knows the final season is coming and will keep an eye on me to make sure I don't buy it yet.

Nothing good comes of trying to enjoy something with my dad, that's the moral of the story here.

Whoa, I wasn't expecting the "people are starving" card out of this. That sucks, you only wanted him to have a good time.

To be fair, he says it all the time so it's nothing new with him. He just hasn't in the past few weeks, which is a while for him and why I was surprised to hear it again for this.

On a Lost-related note, do we still not know what's on that mystery disc in the complete set? I really want to know! Hopefully we find out soon.
