I shouldn't have watched that unboxing video on youtube. Half the fun is from using the black light and searching for hints by yourself. Now the surprise is ruined... :(
 
I just realized that Wal-Mart probably won't be getting the complete set at all, so I'll probably have to wait until tomorrow and go to a different entertainment store that will surely have it.

Wrong.

I power watched the entire series in a month and a half for my first time through. I had to call my brother on Expose because I couldn't believe how FUCKING awful it was. Terrible, terrible episode. SiaSL wasn't the bees knees or anything, but Expose was just terrible.

Expose has loads of jokes though....

Yes it was the biggest waste of time, but it was really funny
 
Soooo are any of you getting the set tomorrow? I'd like to find out if my Wal-Mart is getting it, but I live in Kentucky and they still barely know (I think) what DVD's are.

complete blu ray set comes out in september over here in UK.

but i think im gna wait for the limited edition one which isnt out till October
 
I know this has been answered, probably 2134 times so far, but can someone just let me know what the whole collection has that just the sixth season doesn't? I already own seasons 1 through 5 on Blu-ray... was just going to get 6.

if you already have FIVE of the Blu-ray sets I wouldn't get the complete set unless you have some extra spending money to blow on it.

Across the Sea was awesome. It was awesome when it aired and it's more awesome now after seeing the finale.

Seriously AtS is such a good episode.

Its amazing to see how far Jacob and MiB have come, they were vastly different, very flawed, sheltered etc.

Also we get to understand their motivations on why they do the things they do and it totally makes sense.

Also i really dig the light and i think its one of losts greatest twists and foreshadowing.

Locke discussing the same thing when he saw the monster:

S1E5: "Ive looked into the eye of this island and what i saw was beautiful"

S3E5: "I saw a very bright light, it was beautiful."

Also The light makes S2 and everything with the Swan hatch more important than ever.

The Hatch was basically the EXACT same thing as the cork in the series finale.

The hatch is from a science point of view.

The cork is from a faith/supernatural point of view.

God damn this show *bow*
 
I'm excited for the commentaries. I know Lindelcuse will put on their usual show where they discuss stuff without really saying much, but hopefully they drop some good tidbits. The first thing I'm going to do is listen to the commentaries, without question-- after I find out what's on that damn hidden disc. I'm trying to keep my hype low about that disc but they kept it so secret.

I'm getting it, Amazon says it will be delivered tomorrow so we shall see. I'm not sure what I want to do first, rewatch the finale, watch the coda, or just start over and go through everything.

I might have to order it through Amazon myself, release day delivery baby. $219 after tax/shipping, not horrible I guess.
