If he likes AtS, good for him. Just warning him that many fans, even big ones, see the errors in it.

I'm one of the few who liked AtS... then again I always watched LOST while stoned as hell, so sometimes I was on the odd side of the love/hate curve for key episodes.

Ab Aeterno and Happily Ever After were both amazing. The Package wasn't even that bad.

Penny and Desmond gets me every time... Same with Jin and Sun (though I think it's been forever since Yunjin and Daniel have had screen time :lol)

Season 6 is getting better, I like it now. It's starting to make (more) sense.

The last half of season 6 is far better than the first. Across the sea suffered from too much hype, and there are some answers there, but I find the production and acting to be often cheesy. Though not between adult Jacob and MIB, who are both great together.

But season 6 has some brilliant, brilliant episodes. Most fans throughout the final season threads really enjoyed it, including the finale. The Haters just seem to be hanging around and pissing in the thread and in the face of anyone paying interest more than the fans at this point. They're putting an almost worrying amount of effort into disliking something at a time when even most diehard fans who continue to love the show have moved on.

Ilana's abrupt death and the lack of answers regarding her past despite being promoted to the regular cast confused some fans. When asked about it, Carlton Cuse has said they had "greater plans" for Ilana but decided to spend more time with established characters instead. In the same interview, he also said that Ilana led a "hard and tragic life" that he could not reveal any details of yet.

I've watched every single episode up until this one. I watched Fire + Water. I watched Adrift. I even knew that everyone hated Strangers in a Strange Land, and I still watched that one. I think I'll be fine.

Yea, I can't say it's as bad as those (although I don't mind Adrift in the greater scheme of the season). It's not totally skippable or anything, just really holds up the momentum from the preceding 7 or so eps leading up to the epic finale.

Believe it or not, I remember after that episode there were still people complaining that we hadn't gotten any hard answers. The intelligent few were like "someone came out and SPECIFICALLY answered a major question!!"

Well, it's a pretty shitty answer (what about Sawyer hearing the guy he killed before getting on the plane, then? why would that guy be stuck on the island? and that's to say nothing of the way the show linked those whispers to the Others a few too many times, sometimes even explicitly and by characters "who should know"), and the way it was given was even worse.

Damon and Carlton have an underrated sense of humor.
