A "throwback moment" would be something that already happened though, no? In other words something that would be just like or directly ripped out of season 1.

The trowback comment refers to locke's backgammon talk, hell it's even in the abc/ctv promo ("omg two sides dark and light !!11"), so the thing they knew they were doing from the beginning is only the whole light/dark rivalry, or it refers like omgrite said, something that already happened, like when sawyer saw claire giving birth in season 5. So yeah I'd say that's not definitely SNEAK PEEK SPOILARZ

Although at this point, I think Lost has actually used every possible plot device so you can't really say you're ripping Lost off. It's like saying "The Simpsons already did it." :lol

It would be awesome if it were true but I lost my faith on the writers to deliver this level of mindblowing.

they got people who intentionally look like Jack and Sawyer to fuck with us. Pretty bullshit tease, but hey it got me speculating.

Speculation based on sneak peeks --
The idea that Jacob and MIB were once seemingly normal people on an island already populated by mysterious people is really interesting. It implies that they were given powers, and we'll find out exactly how and why and that they were once, we can assume, equals. The story told in the next episode should be awesome!

It's clear from that, that Jacob and MIB are brothers, but MIB's young self does not look evil at all. They just look like normal kids. So I think that the smoke monster took over his body eventually as well as Locke's and this goes further back than we think.

I'd never thought about it like that- I think we've all just assumed Titus Welliver is the
"original"
. The problem there is that there's no definitve answer to the creation of the monster- that's something that fucking everyone would bitch about unfortunately.

What if
MiB killed Silas as a little one, and jacob ever since has been keeping MiB on the island somehow as revenge. The blood is little Silas', from when Jacob would have found his dead body as a kid.

Yeah, i think you guys will be
disappointed in the scene where the three losties appear next-week, it will probably be just some scene from S1, told from the perspective of jacob and MIB. Then they'll be dozen of LOST fans going 'OMG THEY PLANNED IT ALL OUT!" by retconning a scene from season 1!

I don't think so. There has been a lot of confusion on the subject. Jorge states one thing on his podcast, Darlton dance around it on theirs; it's been debated quite a bit, and a recent poll on DarkUFO had his survival at almost 50/50. This is just a simple yes/no answer. The spoiler either says "does" or "doesn't"; no different to any other spoiler of this type.
