I'm not trying to deceive anyone. I'm trying to win. You and Fat4all are clearly the greatest targets that I can find on day #1.
I don't like how you twice now deflected my arguments against you, even going so far as to pointing out how what you were doing was even scummier than I thought, yet not arguing against it.
I don't like how Fat4all attempted to build an argument against me using incredibly deceptive arguments. He said that I wasn't attempting to scum hunt even though I posted 20 minutes later (a post that sourced 3 other posts, showing that I was putting the work in). He literally mis-read an entire post (he even brought in responses to that alleged post as additional evidence, even though he was reading it wrong. how??)
I was expecting you guys to reel back now if you weren't scum and just be honest. Either of you could be honest about the other player, but Fat4all insists that facts about my behavior are literally subject to contextual interpretation. It's such an absurd argument to bring into this game - it's like an argument a flat-earther would use.

still working on this read list thing (between some slight drinking and tv this might get posted after midnight but it will be posted!), but here are some thoughts on what occurred in the past few pages:
Is there another shoe to drop from Kark or was the gambit basically to be a bit less active than what was usually expected of him? and then followed by post count analysis? That's not to say there can't be interesting discussion over how scum pairs might have 1 or 2 take most of the posting burden, while others sleep in the shadows. But I'm not sure it's really worth calling a gambit. Worst hype letdown since La La Land.

Fat4all moved in on my argument, then they created an arbitrary metric ("before critic" and "after critic") to prove it false. It's completely insane - it's ludicrous. This is actively deceptive to everyone reading.
What was scummier, that I moved my vote off Ouro? Yeah, nothing to really deflect from there. I'm not purposely putting myself in a tunnel like you are.
Also, obviously your behavior in a game of mafia is subject to context. Why would anyone take your word for it?

I mean, that's exactly what he did. It was my intention if I hadn't fallen asleep for a bit. If nothing else, all of your posts at least have substance and with your ISO being less than a page, tossing everything together to analyze makes the most sense.

I always look at everyone's posts. I attempt to understand the context that the post was made in, though. Why would a town player not try to understand the context to see if someone is really scum? I only strip them of context when I'm scum and I know that I can make the arguments against someone faster than they can tear them apart. Fat4all very obviously went through and strung the posts together without context. If you're just jumping into this, go back and read what I'm talking about.
I have to engage you because half the posts on this page are from you and you're trying to win this argument through attrition and sarcasm.

Hey guys, going through people's post histories and re-contextualizing their posts to appear scummy and remove them from context is very town-like. This is how a town player would behave who is trying to find scum. Look at my drippy modern sarcasm and gif reactions.
I'm not really sure what you're trying to make of given that post. The post that Fat4all quoted did seem like it came out of nowhere at the time you made it. Nevermind the fact that now you're taking his post out of context because he addressed the post to Sorian right after that too, and how you didn't really follow up on it. Which is consistent with what he said about "scum hunting without actually scum hunting"
Of course the NK is always an option, but it would be suspicious for a scum to go after no one at all in the day phase. It's put them under scrutiny the next day at the very least.

I mean, look at the post. It's pretty clear that I posted that, then sat in the thread for 20 minutes trying to find a read and settled on vote shenanigans with Sorian (look at my original post, it was immediately followed by a vote count which I followed up on). If they wanted to make the argument that I didn't follow up on it, fine. However, I think it is clear in the way they framed their argument that they were accusing me of something else and it's evidenced by the long post and how many tangents are brought into it.
This is literally how I'm reading his post and how it came across to me given the argument we were having. That it's okay to be disingenuous to present a theory
Okay, just wanted to check. I think the end phrasing of "why you are scum leaning" threw me off. In my head I kept reading it as he was already scum leaning darryl and went in to make a theory to validate it.
Their justification for originally towards Sorian seemed like a softball vote to begin with. First described by finding it strange that Sorian was confident in their Town read of Samurai, and then later described as a "gut read" in their list or scum/town.
Why they are going so hard after me specifically now is another question entirely, which I'm not even so sure about.

I got the impression that Fat's intention was to show you weren't scum hunting. That is, you were looking for people to fill in the details instead of figuring it out yourself. When you did try to pseudo scum hunt (because nobody took to the questions to proposed), and you got called out for you "bad analyst" by Sorian, you didn't follow up on it. He makes note of the fact that you ignored and/or didn't follow up a lot of the time in there.
Not saying I agree with Fat here, yet. I'm skeptical of him suddenly coming in after not being very impressed with him. And I'm trying to be wary to not do his dirty work and fill in the details for him. But his initial argument made sense to me when I read it.

It wasn't even the only time they misread my posts tho. Ty4on corrected them in post #1305 for something else they misread in the same post (that I didn't even catch at first) and they haven't followed up on it. I'm really struggling to see a scenario where Fat made that post and wasn't intentionally being deceptive or pushing an agenda, and it's only further driven home by how flippantly they post stuff like this given the line of thinking I'm chasing
