There is none of that BS in the second season. I think we all pretty much agree that the drama surrounding Kotori at the end of the first season was awful and unneeded.
Umi is <3, not as much as Rin, but still Umi is cute!

How the heck do people do these special songs. I tried to do Anemone Heart on easy and failed lol. People can do this on Expert? Though admittedly I'm not that good at rhythm games.

I finally watched the last 2 episodes of LL S2 and i have to say it still contains BS to me
The end of the µ was kinda irritating. I know these girls love to be together forever but they knew it was not going to last long. Because school is not all that long. It's part of life, you meet new people who you are great friends with and then people leave to follow their dreams and ambitions and that leads to separate ways. So i could not get sad about the drama in S2. Besides they could always chill in the weekends. Its not like they are moving far away.

Just practice! Also make sure to wear headphones. For this song, at the very least everything is on beat, so if you 'feel the rhythm' you should be fine.
Also make sure to calibrate your controls in Settings.

That drama didn't bother me as much as the first season's drama which came completely out of left field. At least we knew this was coming. I'll agree that it was a little overbearing by the end of the season but what bothered me the most about the end of it was
the whole marketing scheme for the movie right at the end. It just came off as shilling a product and left a bad taste in my mouth.
As firehawk said earlier, K-On did a much better job with the senpais graduating and the sadness you feel as you leave your underclassmen and friends behind.

Yeah, I would've liked the show way more if they just kept the episodes how they are early on with some girls getting a bit more focus in certain episodes. I wasn't a huge fan of all the forced drama in the end of 1st and 2nd season, but I thought that 1st season was worse with it that S2 with all the Kotori and Honoka drama.
And you are right about the drama at the end of S2, it's something everyone goes through, and it's not like the final time you will ever see them again, unless you wreen't all that great off friends to begin with. Hell years later, I still hang out and talk with my 2 best friends from High School.

I dunno about that. Cinderella Girls is basically the exact same system minus the gameplay yet allowed trading, and that game was super successful financially.
If anything the idea that I could spend money, get cards of girls I don't want, and be unable to trade them for ones I do want, puts me off on spending money.
Considering how successful it is I'm sure they will make more.
Well, I played the gacha game twice now and got Nico both times unfortunately so I made this thing.
If I get her to max flowers I can see a side story right? I have Honoka at max but if I understand the system correctly I need another Honoka to fuse before I can see her event?
Alongside the drama near the end of S2 being unnecessary, we could've had more character development for other characters instead, like Umi. She got almost no character development. At least the character development they did do was good. Especially Rin and Nozomi. That said, Nozomi better be the center for the next PV!

Correct, you must idolize the character first before you can gain access to their side story. Normal cards also have side stories. Each side story gives you one loveca and some gold.

Yep i feel the exact same way as you guys. The time they spent on the drama could easily be focused on the characters that did not get a lot of character development. Umi is probably the biggest one.
We see her sitting in a big old japanese styled house with no info about how she lived her life only that she is honoka and kotoris live long friend. We even did not meet the parents maybe its in the movie

Yeah I agree with you that it definitely was complete BS. I found the drama dumb. However, that could be me being heartless. I said the same thing to peps at my graduation when they were crying. I still hang out with friends it's not like they have moved away yet. They should of just worked on character building instead some more. Still sad that I won't get to see anymore of the lewdest idol in anime though. Also to quote myself about the drama episodes.

I agree with you on the more character development part. As I said in my post earlier, we just needed more episodes lile Nozomoi, Rin, amd Eli episodes. It's not like they only needed one episode each and thats all the character development they get, they coulda have switched between the girls and what not. Hell some like Umi didn't get an episode to herself at all just so they could have more drama episodes. Plus who doesn't want more Rin, Nozomi, Eli and Noco episodes! I really want that Umi story
.But still 2nd seasons drama wasn't nearly as bad as thr Kotori is randomly leaving stuff.
If trearing up on almost every LL episode counts as not being a robot, sign me up. >_>
Well I liked the scenes at the train station and on the roof. Those scenes actually gave me a few tears. Then again, the same thing happened to me in that one Chihaya episode in The Idolm@ster so I could just be a crybaby too ^^.
The problem with the roof scene is that instead of it being the ending, they had Happy Maker/ the movie announcement for the very end, making for a pretty anti-climactic final scene. I think the roof scene would've been a nice close to the anime series with Honoka's "We saw it through to the end".
I really hate that stupid big news announcement to set up the movie. Just ruined the whole episode for me. To make up for it they should drop the shitty CG dancing. Also a-rise needed more songs and development.
Edit: lol this has turned into everything that is wrong with the show for me.

Oh, of course out of joy. I mean there wasn't much to be sad about except for the last episodes. I tend to get teary quite a lot if I really really like a show and LL is like way more than an average or good anime for me.
Which is usually the reason why I don't comment on all the complaints in here.

And now that I think about it, most of my anime tears have been tears of joy. Love Live was pretty much the first anime to give me sad tears, so points for LL. I don't think even K-On's graduation scene gave me tears.
I was in a slump for a day or two. I just have to remember that Love Live survived without the anime for a good 3 years, so they're most definitely gonna continue with either more PVs or something else. Not to mention the EliNozo radio shows they do every saturday and Emi's Fight Club ^^
But even those have to stop eventually, like the amazing KotoHonoMaki radio show T~T

For anything otaku, it all seems very transient because the fans seem very fickle. The idol thing seems worse because it's all built upon a small, surprisingly wealthy bunch of men who will buy hundreds of copies of a CD on the off chance they win an opportunity to shake an idol's hand.
