Has anything seriously incriminating been found?
Literally the worst thing in Podesta's emails were a risotto recipe and an email complaining about someone. Thankfully France's media doesn't seem as stupid as ours so he should be okay.
Has anything seriously incriminating been found?
I think they just think that about the "other guys" campaign.Do people just have an inherent belief that every campaign is doing incriminating stuff and openly e-mailing about it?

Who would do this?
It is SO WEIRD this keeps happening to candidates who are running against far right candidates. Just like, SO WEIRD.
It's so weird that the story about Fillon's wife came out when the Democrats knew they had no chance against him when the candidate they expected to win the primaries didn't. So they could focus all their resources and convert their allegiances to Macron who is the total opposite of French socialist values, because they knew that Melenchon wouldn't give any single of them a seat at the government while being the closest to the historical French left.
Seriously, are there any non-white supremacist hackers that would like to do their due diligence?
You blame Russia (hello cold war) without anything backing it up. This hacking won't change anyone's mind. Especially 2 days before the election. We are talking about French elections, people here have political beliefs and education. They don't make their mind up based on one TV channel telling them what to think nor from a video-game forum.Am I supposed to understand this incoherent rambling?
Um. Fillon was always in danger of having skeletons in his closet because the main center right political party under various political party names has been involved in scandals in the last decade or two. There was always a chance something would pop up that killed his campaign. You blame Russia (hello cold war) without anything backing it up. They conveniently found something about a candidate (Fillon) who had chances to beat the socialists (Macron had no chance at that time) and no one find this suspicious. Macron has always have been supported by Hollande to create his party etc while they should be completely in opposition in terms of ideology.
Sorry I am not a native English speaker. This is racist to mock me by replying me about the fact that you don't understand it.

Similar to the reopening of the investigation into Hillary's emails just before the election, the mere existence of a story like this could be enough to affect the vote. Whether or not anything incriminating is found could be irrelevant. We'll know soon enough.

14 Macron threads on the front page of T_D. Good on them for opening up to the world!

It's hard to expect an independent hacker to commit such a high profile crime, a lone hacker is a lot easier to prosecute than Russia is. We live in a world where they're trying to send someone to prison for laughing, I totally understand why nobody wants to jump on that grenade.Yeah grey hats have been very quiet lately outside of the Panama papers.

They picked Macron and gave up on their official runner (Hamon) months before the elections btw because they knew he had no chance. Talk about beliefs...
Remain and Leave were basically tied. Anything could've happened. It was on us for not realizing that Leave was a real possibility given the polling.
Hillary ended up winning the popular vote, and the national polls were pretty decent, and 538 gave Trump a 30% chance of winning. A late swing near the end probably wasn't captured by the polls but she was only up by a few points which makes a polling swing towards your opponent more dramatic.
This is nothing like those situations. Macron is up by over 20 points. It's annoying to have people say this without any context. The French polls were also nearly perfect in the first round.
You should ask them about Donald's tax returnsOf course, conservative Twitter goes stupid.
"Hyuck hyuck if he has nothing to hide he has nothing to worry about."
Fuck.

By now it is known to everyone on Earth except Trump's base that the Russians did in fact leak information to influence the election. Given that, is there a single French voter who will not see this sad, desperate, 11th hour ploy for what it is? This shit ain't gonna sway anyone.

Like no one is covering this in france right now so it's very unlikely to influence the vote their now.
Good. Besides, you'd have to figure with all the bullshit that happened in the US with the emails that the French would instantly understand what is going on and not be fooled by that shit. Fucking pathetic attempt Russians.
Well, the media are reporting on the fact that this happened and was propagated by far right circles, with a particular last minute push by FN officials. I'm not sure this will benefit them.Like no one is covering this in france right now so it's very unlikely to influence the vote their now.
