He's alright. Played him in my Animar for a while. Never did do much.
It may not be good in a spell deck (lol epic experiment), but it seems sweet in a tapout deck with control magics and time warps. It's also an artifact which may be relevant in those colours.
That card really irritates me. There's absolutely no reason for it to be an artifact creature at all other than the really stupid 'theme' they gave blue in Alaria. I really don't get how they can be so obsessed with the colour pie, and yet ignore the fact that artifacts have grown well outside of what they should be to the detriment of other card types (particulary enchantments).

Eldrazi Monument reprint is cool. Too bad I already bought one a while back for my Zombie EDH deck. Eternal Witness was probably needed for this upcoming Modern season given how big Zoo is going to be. Not really see a lot of reprints that we weren't aware of before today that are that impressive. I was hoping to see them go a little more aggressive with Modern reprints. Decks look fun though.

Standard's to the point where I'm just making bad, obnoxious decks to annoy people on MTGO.
Was going to buy one of the Commander 2015 decks, but I'm not sure which one. I'm a pretty inexperienced player and I've practically never used Blue decks so I was gonna go with the RU for a change, but after seeing it I'm thinking about switching my preorder to RW (which is usually my shit).

The red part of any cycle sucks, see also Incendiary Command (okay its an okay card, but its worse than the other 4)

It bugs me that this card has a stigma and is on the Reserved List because I would love to play with it. At a TCG Mid of $115, it's not only out of my price range, but... I dunno. It's an oddity, for sure.
EDIT: In reality, it's probably not very fun to play against, haha. That said, a good friend in my playgroup plays Decree of Silence (with a bunch of other pillow fort stuff), so I actually wouldn't feel too bad about it.
The odd thing is that Shivan Gorge got a reprint in FTV: Lands. :lol

Sometimes you forget cards are in a cycle because one of them is Oath of Druids. The Odyssey dog cycle is pretty funny though. They're all bad except OP Wild Mongrel.

I'm probably going with RW. It's opposite of my current Mimeoplasm deck and MTGGoldfish shows it's the most valuable of the new sets. I don't care so much for the latter tho lol.

I stopped going to FNM because standard is garbage and BFZ draft is kind of boring. But I have nothing to do tonight so I might as well draft.
Are you the type that always hates standard or just this one though , I'm a guy who used to be a weekly regular but just don't like this one.

I don't like shuffling 7 times per game and I don't like the most meaningful decision in the game being land sequencing. This specific standard has lost me, I enjoyed all of Khans standard, Rhinos aside. There's always gonna be decks that bug you or whatever, I guess, I just don't care for this level of goodstuff and the best alternative deck is the kind of grindy deck I intentionally never play.
I tried imagining what deck you were talking about in this standard and realized that almost all of them were Grindy

Strategies like that are just too high level for me.
Urgh Hearthstone is starting to be fun but by the time I'll have saved enough gold for Naxxramas secret paladin will probably have been nerfed already.
