This is a scary proposition, I would really like to list my inquisition of kozilek before they do that!
They need to stop missing cards that devastatingly warp the format and maybe then people will care.

The best thing Wizards could have done would be to have made the Dragon tribes be Shards, if only so their halfassed thought train of "People are going to play Shards over wedges once BFZ comes out" wasn't as stupid.
I'm basically done with Standard Right now, because the amount of bullshit running around in the format is too high for me. The "budget" top tier deck is still too high, especially when 90% of it's gone post rotation.
There's nothing wrong with having expensive decks in Standard, but when nearly every fucking deck runs Jace and 10+ Fetches and is only different by a few cards it's bollocks.
Like, I have a Mono White deck that wins about 60% of games I play with it, but it's frustrating that I can get Mana screwed on one colour while my opponent goes smoothly on 4 colours.
Kideon is actually really, really underrated. Like, he has a bullet on his head, but his +1 is insane in a pseudo lock deck. Swing with Archangel+Dudes, untap Archangel and make it Indestructible for a turn. The issue is his ideal deck is Red White Aggro, which is currently shit.

If you try to play a casual game with 15 mainboard counterspells you probably shouldn't be confused why people don't want to play with you.

Didn't that smarmy fuck Randy Buehler win a tournament with a deck that had like 25 mainboard counterspells?
I believe his only win condition was 2 Stalking Stones (a land that turns into a 3/3 permanently for 6 mana).

There is always that side of a format warping card. I just wish they would find a way to stay away from these gatekeeper style cards the whole format needs to funnel through. Seems to happen often.

Fun fact: Reflector Mage got a third point of toughness because UW was shit in OOB draft. They wanted to give you an incentive to be UW and the third point was necessary for it to tussle with all of the 2/xs.

It's hard to read that much from all of this. WotC needed to make a quick response because the allegations are so damn severe. They're in panic mode trying to figure out what is going on and what to do.
If the list has really leaked and spread at all then they'll almost certainly reveal the full set and they will want to do that ASAP. But obviously if the list isn't actually out there that would be a bad move on their part.

I'm really struggling to find a deck in Standard I actually like though. =( Playing 4 colors and trying to sequence lands is kind of a pain.
Me now until I sell off a ton of shit Thursday-Friday:

Mana Drain is banned in EDH and Legacy. I don't know what the point of printing it is.
Vintage is an Eternal format...
That said, I doubt they use 2 Mythic slots on Counterspells, and I can't see them printing Drain at Rare when Force is a Mythic.

In VSL Martell vs Efro G1 on right now is pretty silly. There's a Standstill in play and both players have Crucible/Wasteland going.
