Yes, getting rid of hexproof and keeping shroud would be ideal I'd say. I agree with that.
But in the context of maintaining hexproof as a keyword I would say this is definitely a good enough fix.
Its just a bad precident to set. Many (dead now) CCGs I have played would have broken strategies (seeding Q to bypass Dilemma cards in the Star Trek CCG is the best example I can come up with right now) that they would print a "silver bullet" (in the case of the above example, they printed a card called "Writ of Accountability" that you could tutor up for free and play for free that let you automatically win the game if your opponent used the Q card) to fix a problem.
Eh. It's only a rare. It won't be 10 bucks.
I hope.
...sigh.
About Hexproof. What is the big deal, anyway? Obviously, Bant Hexproof just won 1-2nd place, but R/B Zombies and before that Delver was king. Is Hexproof really that game changing? Is St Traft broken because it's hexproof or because it's hexproof and creates huge, evasive beater for free? Is Stalker annoying because hexproof or hexproof, unblockable and blue?
It seems that the issue isn't the keyword, it's the keyword + a ton of other benefits. I mean, stalker should never have gotten through and Geist should make a 2/2 flyer at best, IMO.

Not good enough of a fix. I hope that the existence of this card shows they realize how big the problem is, and that Magic 2014 might fix the issue.
I guess. I don't see how it's any less interactive than say, indestructible.
That requires an exile effect like O-Ring or Detention Sphere.
Hexproof requires a sweeper.
I mean, it's not any of the other cards with Hexproof beside Geist and Stalker that are causing issues, right? Is there another one I'm missing?
The fact that they made their band-aid a rare is utter horseshit too.
Hexproof only stops opponents from targeting your stuff. Teammates still can.The problem with hexproof comes not from the fact that its powerful, but at the lack of interactivity it creates. Magic is at its most fun when there is lots of interaction- responding to spells, creature combat, ect. It's the main reason I prefer limited to constructed- it makes the game more fun!
Hexproof removes interactivity from the game. With Shroud, there was no interactivity, but it was also a drawback- a creature was stuck the way it was. With hexproof, they take away any semblance of a drawback (except in team based multiplayer, where your teammates can't target it). In Innistrad limited, loosing to an Invisible Stalker enchanted with spectral flight, or (god forbid) equipped with a Butcher's Cleaver just made you want to stop playing Magic- which is about the worst thing a game can do.
Indestructible creatures can still be tapped down, have their toughness reduced (<3 tragic slip) or any other of a number of effects to deal with them. Indestructible is annoying, to be sure, but still allows interaction. Hexproof creatures can only be dealt with via wide effects (like pyroclasm or wrath) or forced sacrifice. Either way, it greatly narrows down what you can do to them.I guess. I don't see how it's any less interactive than say, indestructible.

It's been a big issue since Innistrad came out.Ah. So, it's been an annoyance, but now people have just broke it completely.

Whoever put that on the spoiler schedule for today must feel like a damn prophet right now.
Either that or it was a hastily made decision.
wtf @ that Erayo Nivmagus deck.
That's GerryT. Jund shows up less and less the further down the player "skill" spectrum you go due to the cost of putting together the deck.WTF indeed. I would have thought all the Jund decks would be overloaded on Liliana to deal with Slippery Bogle, and this kind of deck wouldn't be able to survive. I guess he just ran good?

2WW-> Destroy AllConsidering you will almost always just want to hit creatures, it is overpriced considering Terminus is still a thing.
2WW-> Destroy All
3WW-> Bottom All
4WW-> Exile All
Those are the sweeper benchmarks.

If you're referring to Terminus it's 4WW.
I didn't get 47/50 on the GDS2 test for no reason.Showing off that pro card database knowledge.
