Great backstory detail in the Tokyo area. I kind of wish it was a bit long as HosaFuuji moments are the best part of the story and it was so funny to see them interact. I dont want them to split up soon though, so hopefully he turns the invitation down.

Why dumb? I thought their high schools have technical ones and college preparation ones. And the same for here though since some american high schools have tracks for if you want to become a computer person, performing arts person, and so on. Large school systems are able to do this.

As I said, it's in the composition of the series. The structures involved and how ONE and Togashi go about telling their story from chapter to chapter. My Hero Academia or, for an anime example, Tiger & Bunny involve superheroes aren't similar to OPM at all stylistically or tonally.
Don't get caught up in the details of each work. I only mentioned those because it's easier to point out those similarities as a way of illustrating how they're both using them in regards to they create each manga.

If a plot twist gets a strong emotional reaction from the reader, but it wasn't the emotion that the author intended (in this case, uncontrollable laughter instead of horror/sadness), should its use be considered a mistake? I can't be sure either way, but what I AM sure of is that a benevolent god exists, because there's no way I'd have the fortune to read this right after Imasugu otherwise. Like holy shit, that's just too perfect.
Also it's fitting that On reminded me of Nisekoi's Ruri, because her sub-romance was far superior to the lead pairing's.

On one hand it was a lovely MikaYuu reunion, on the other it further confirmed the army is evil and vile and kureto is just as nefarious as I imagined. Awful.

I am looking for some recommendations, and maybe you could help me. Its been like +4 years since reading any manga, I just stopped after a very busy period of my life and my hobbies and tastes changed.
This weekend while cleaning all my shit in some dark prohibited closets and boxes I found my Planetes manga collection. God I didnt even remember I had those! I have read the some chapters since and I felt curious again.
Mitsuru Adachi (Touch!, H2), Rumiko Tahakashi (Maison Ikkoku) and Naoki Urusawa (Monster, 20 Century Boys) were some of my favorites. Also really liked Mushishi, Planetes and Nijigahara Holograph between others.
What good series or one offs from the past few years would you guys recommend? Something short would be a plus! Is Billy Bat from Urusawa any good? Never read anything else from Asano, something to read from him?

To be fair, the whole thread was reviewing/discussing porn three pages back. Singling out Zweizer is becoming harder, the infection is spreading.
That's as good an idea as you can have. Solanin is short and bittersweet. Oyasumi Punpun is long and bitter most of the time. Both are amongst my (and many other's) favourite mangas.

The idea is cool but this felt cheap...These demons are already looking pretty tame. The villains must have some guys stronger than Escanor. Namely the guy who looks like Meliodas's wanted poster.
Also Galan guy was pretty crap in the end. I thought these guys were apparently far below their tru power and needed to recuperate on more souls?

Well good writing would suggest that Soma will win so good Eizan will go home furious and creying, making me him this underhanded its the only way to deal with the plot, and we got THAT Soma face going on so I can put all my eggs in Soma's basket.
I hope Kuga is shown again, this is like his 10th time at least where his name is mentioned but he hasn't been drawn. He is a vital character for this arc.

For Asano's works, I'll second Solanin, Punpun and Dedede. Some similar series are Kokou no Hito and Boys on the Run. If you want something more light-hearted, Hinamatsuri and Flying Witch are highly recommended. And of course, everyone should read Prison School (as well as Me and the Devil Blues, from the same author, Akira Hiramoto).
As for recent series, Dungeon Meshi is pretty great, and I'd suggest you check out Terrarium in Drawer, also from Kui Ryoko, especially if you like short stories. And speaking of short stories, be sure to check out Nickelodeon from Dowman Sayman, it'll be sure to not leave you indifferent.
If Lain is to be trusted, it's shit.
