I don't think I've read something predicated on the concept of NTR, so this should be fun.
Not that it doesn't occur often in the NTR genre, but so far there really isn't any reason to not root for Hotaru considering how little character the guy has.

I wonder what you guys think about this arrangement; whether you find the relationship between these two acceptable or not.
-They're siblings =/= they're not blood related, and the fact that they are "siblings" are due to circumstances beyond their control.
-They're teacher and student --> it doesn't seem like Hina is directly responsible for Natsuo's grades? And they're both adults that can think for themselves... if you are not okay with them doing it now, will you be okay with them doing it once Natsuo is not Hina's student anymore?
-Are you folks okay with them eloping somewhere to live together?
I don't know, it seems "wrong" but at the same time they're each an adult with no blood relation with each other.. so yeah.

I'm okay with the first one. Its basically legal to marry your non-blood related step sibling.
I'm torn between the second one since she is still a teacher and in asian cultures having a teacher-student relationship is a huge taboo and can ruin lives. She isn't directly responsible with the grades but its still possible to affect them in the way of course material and test papers etc.

I know One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Berserk, Prison School, My Hero Academia, JoJo, Toriko, Attack on Titan and HxH have one. The HxH, Attack on Titan, Toriko and Prison School ones aren't too active though. Maybe put Icarus-Daedelus' dead(?) manga thing in there too?

Eh, I disagree. Stone Free is the weakest of the 6, but Jolyne herself is hard as fuck. When it comes to tenacity and strength Jotaro is the only ones who could compete.

I mean in terms of physical strength -- I'm so used to having female characters in battle stories get non-punchy weaker powers, so Stone Free being just as physically strong as other Jojo stands is great. From what I've seen, it could match Star Platinum or Crazy Diamond in that respect.

I started this on a whatever whim and slowly it kept growing on me
Especially Maki.
Dunno how much I like Meguru's fights, idk if inspirational or luck is his main way to win, with everyone always being so damn surprised whenever he does good.
But pretty decent so far. I'm glad so many characters are being introspective about why they're competing.

Meguru doesn't have any flashy technique or a strong specialization in fighting style, so he seems just "normal", but as the title implies being an "All-Rounder" is a virtue by itself, and Meguru is a good one. He also is pretty good in learning new stuff in record time and in adapting on the fly in a fight.
The main virtue of the series is the "realistic" fights, where if you look with attention, you can see the transition of the posses and the strikes between vignettes, and how all it's anatomically correct even in complex positions in the ground.
Girls with tan lines are automatically winners. Everywhere.
If only more authors realized this...

Yeah, his early fights just felt too flukey but his Kansai fights were much much better.

Kansai tournament was really great. Really liked seeing Meguru fight in these.

Continuing to add to my manga collection, and I'm stuck on what to do get next.
Currently waiting to see if Viz releases another One Piece box set in November. I have volumes 1-11 of Berserk coming in by next week, and am most likely getting some Amazon gift cards for my birthday this weekend. Which brings me to my question...
Should I continue purchasing Berserk, or try a new manga I haven't read? My list is pretty small at the moment, but these are a few of the big ones I have my eye on: Monster, Slam Dunk and Vagabond.
Not sure which I'd start with. Depending on how much I get, I may just buy a few volumes of each.

Get Solanin and Prison School.
Slam Dunk is a good choice.
They are all pretty good choices.
Vagabond is still ongoing and is also the longest out these three. If you want something that is shorter and better (imo), opt for Lone Wolf and Cub.

I never read, I just look at pictures.
It's more grounded and realistic than the bulk of shonen sports manga but fall short against Meguru. Humour wise, it's can be a little crass and over the top.
I like it though, I have a soft spot for hot-blooded young lads.
