I like them. I read almost everything from Nobuyuki Fukumoto except for Akagi because I don't understand/play Mahjong. Ditto for One-Outs and Liar Game etc. I guess I am looking at more obscure titles.

This is where I stand too. I enjoyed Barrage at first and thought it had potential to do well, but he wasn't able to bank on it. I like his art too, and I hope he learned his lesson the first two times so that he can do something this time around. I don't know much of how jump treats artists but I don't think they'd let him try a fourth time.

It's a rather interesting take on the whole "weak character becoming a badass" thing going on in so many manga. The MC is still weak in the beginning of the manga, even if he somewhat trained. We'll see how he develops.

It's kinda weird to see this thread ignore some of the bigger titles at times.
The series is great, though. I caught up on it in three days or so.
It's one of my favorite shonen series and ranks at #8 in my ongoing manga list.
That world building is INTENSE.

It sits next to Soul Eater (gave this like 6 or 8 volumes of chances), Law of Ueki, Jigoku Shoujo, Battle Royale and something else I can't remember right now.
