Gangsta 16-18

Holy shit, Nicolas finally snapped.

But this constant back and forth between the flashback, presented as Wallace's dream, and the present is killing me. Speaking of dreams, I need someone like Alex to wake me up from my nightmares like that. <3

This Twilight hunt is getting out of hand. It clearly has to be another Twilight, at least S-Rang. Nico got a glimpse of her and his smirk was insane. He knows what's going on. It wouldn't even surprise me if he knew her.
Alex' remembering that she had a little brother was handled pretty well, imo.

Once again I enjoyed the interaction between Nicolas, Alex and Worick. It's always the little moments that make them so great. I'm surprised DTL hasn't picked this one up. There should be lots of fan art for it. On another note, I do wonder if this kind of handshake is only allowed between women.

Te to Kuchi Prologue

A romance story not being written by Kawashita is kinda intriguing, the MC is already more likable than all of the hacks that were in her other manga. And I do have a thing for the cool ojou-sama type of girl. Consider this picked up.

Nobunaga no Chef 17

Heh I watched the episode of the drama covering this chapter yesterday.
Nobunaga didn't hit Ken with his sword though, damn.

I assume that last chapter of good loser Kumagawa will show is him bring the father, that's the only thing I really want to see. Great finale to a great series. Zenkichi will finally get to marry Medaka and do what he's wanted to since the beginning
beat dat ass

I actually started this a while ago but kinda just forgot to keep up with it for whatever reason. Probably wasn't feeling it at the time because admittedly the subject matter isn't particularly high on my interest list but decided to come back to it this week and I've managed to myself hooked on it. It's most definitely a really well written "feel good" story so far. What I like most, other than the comedy, is how everything feels really... genuine. The writing, the characters, the scenes. It all feels natural which is something I really appreciate.

And some of these scenes, good lord. The comedy is so good.

I can't stop reading but I feel like I have to force myself to slow down before I run out of chapters. :(

Medaka Box End:

Wasn't really thrilled about that ending, or this series ending, but at least the mangaka got to end it properly/wasn't forced to do it by Jump. Wish the series could have ended on a high note though.

Damn, Naruto and Fairy Tail seem to be getting interesting...sucks I lost track of them over the last couple of years.

At least, One Piece is still awesome. :D

This stuff is really at its best when there are no fights. Shame it's not going to last very long until the next one.

Depends on what genre you might currently prefer really, Beelzebub is a great comedy series with lengthy and mediocre fightings, Shaman King is an ok-ish battle shounen which got very shitty towards the end and Monster is one of the best psychological thrillers in manga form, albeit not entirely without flaws.

Beelzebub is an unfunny comedy manga with boring battles. Shaman King is a trashy battle shounen. So read Monster.

Lol well that was easy, though I do enjoy trashy shonen battles

500ish pages of delicious porn each month. It's really, really sad.

Pffft! I still have Comic MILF!
Though Megastore publishes Seuhirogari, Kenji Kishizuka and Butcha-u just to name a couple artists, which makes it hurt.

God damn it.

Did a quick check, my 2 favourite new artists are with Comic Action and Comic Penguin so I'm good.

Er what happened to Kumagawa again? He's a pretty awesome guy so I wanted to see him at least awwww :(

Ok ending I guess. Wrapped it up super fast.

MEDAKA BOX (END)

I'm feeling it. Man... I'll miss this manga so much. It filled something that I still haven't found a replacement for in any other series (even more so considering it was weekly). The constant crazy for the single point of being crazy, the one-liners that make that special brand of nonsense, never knowing what'll be in the next panel, I'll miss it all. It's still the series I had the most fun reading weekly, more than other series weekly and more than this series in a marathon. I jumped on the chapters as soon as they came out.

I'm really feeling it, guys. I needed this series ;_;

IT'S BEEN A FRESH RIDE

LOVED THE ENDING

Toujou is a loose cannon and is typically capable of holding his own. Himekawa is the one who actually would need the powerup and is would have been more likely to admit Oga's superiority.

Himekawa is an unreliable bastard who usually do what he wants, and make things on his own term (we just got his description in this chapter). As for Toujou holding his own, well this chapter did not show it. And most likely the upcoming chapters as well since the king´s seal is hyped up to hell, the same with the seal on the other side.

What does what just happened have to do with the gang's thought precesses? Historically, Toujou has been second only to Oga had held his own against demons without any sort of power. Himekawa hasn't achieved nearly the same feats and has proven that he isn't completely unwilling to work as part of a team if it is beneficial to him.

Medaka Box end

On one hand, I'm sad it's over. On the other, there really weren't many more places the series could go. It was already impossible to visually convey just how broken most of the characters were even when not a single one gave it their all, so the fights would just continue to descend into Nisio putting words in a blender.

I do wish we got Job Seeker Kumagawa, but it doesn't seem like that will happen. An episodic spinoff starring him and the creative ways he used All Fiction would be amazing if it was anything like the anime episode of Good Loser Kumagawa.

I'm seriously going to miss this crazy loveable series. The 2 part epilogue was pretty nice; I loved seeing the characters in their 20s and the fact that they lost their powers was a nice touch. It's like an allegory for growing up haha. We didn't get to see timeskip Kumagawa or Najimi Ajimu though :(

Overall, I really enjoyed Medaka Box, especially towards the later half of the series. I'm glad I got to read it :]

Kabutomushi used Megahorn. And goddamn it's super effective. Taking her last words there at face value (which is doubtlessly a silly idea), Alice now has a god tier bug supporting her.
