All You Need is Kill (END)

Bleh, that's not really what I wanted at all from the end of the series. Seems like the author just sort of gave up and finished it off with the Rita vs Cage fight he wanted. Still, overall it was a ton of fun. A really great sci-fi concept explored reasonably well. It was definitely worth the short read.

Hunter x Hunter 341

Not what I expected at all. A lot of very frightening set-up. I half expected Togashi to go with a lighter tone like Greed Island post the crazy darkness of Chimera Ant. Interesting to see him continue in this super dark direction. Cannot wait to see where this goes.

RE:Togashi's comments. Seeing him say he's rusty means he probably wasn't planning the entire arc during his hiatus, huh? Oh joy.

Going to be a bit before I can read the rest of the issue, but I've been loving Stealth Symphony so far and reasonably enjoying Nisekoi and Seraph of the End, so I'm excited to check those out. Will probably still read Bleach out of some sense of masochistic obligation too.

All You Need Is Kill 17 (end)

Bland ending, needed more action, and showing us the destruction of the Mimic Server and actually war ending. Why is this just a tiny battle. :( Oh Well loved the Keiji panel.

Focusing on one battle in a whole war is OK on me. Works within the scale of the material. If this was the end of the whole war, that would be a bit too convenient for my taste. My problem with the end is that the whole Rita vs Cage match is so contrived for the sake of plot. Should have been a much more planned and considered ending.

Re:Monster 3
This is working out like the gamer mostly. And I guess he goes on to become a lord, judging by the cover of chapter 1.

Also, this is based off a light novel too, apparently

Stealth Symphony

Yeah, the end of this chapter all but confirms this series is wrapping up. 2-3 more chapters to fill out 2 books?

gotcha

Kuroko no Basket 175-183

well this different eye fellow is some kind of douche

I don't like him

a majority of the miracles keep on yaking about victory is everything, no competition, etc... (although most of them have changes)

just leave for a trip to another country and guarantee they'd lose completely

Wandering Emanon ’73 8

Oh wow, they got married? I'm starting to think now that they'll have a kid and she'll become the next Emanon. Though I don't know how that'd work if the current one still hasn't regained her memories. Feel bad for the guy still tho ;_;

is there a way to subscribe to certain manga only in WSJ? I want to pay for Hunter x Hunter chapters but I don't want to buy a full membership

Yes but he said he didn't want to subscribe either. Might as well just buy the issues if he really wants the Hunter x Hunter chapters, especially since it's dirt cheap.

Well, if you only want the HxH chapters, just buy those issues. If they were selling individual chapters, 99 cents is probably the price they would charge per chapter, so just look at it like that

that's what I'll do, I just bought this weeks issue and Viz's translation blew the scans right out of the water so i guess I'll keep it up

Im looking forward to seeing how the movie handles an ending, I think the staff thought the ending was weak in the early adaptation phase too.

Mushi to Medama to Teddy Bear 1-34 (END)

LN-turned-manga silliness about an immortal girl with a fixation for killing things with spoons. There's a plot involving apples or something, but really it's just a pretext for mass spoonicide. It started off fairly unremarkably, due to the weak characters and the story / delivery being a bit of a mess, but once the setup was established things improved significantly. Overall I'm glad I read it, largely because it's given me some excellent creative ideas involving human anatomy and spoons.

Akuma no riddle

Huh.

Interesting premise at least, being AssClass without the silliness (or that much ass if the designs of the girls are anything to go by). Seems like it's going to be a "A Huge Battleship" type of series.
Yep, I've been eyeing this up recently. I'll wait until there're impressions of the finished anime around before deciding which form I'll ingest it in.

I tried reading spoon murder but gave up after awhile. Don't remember why as spoon-based killing should be sort of my thing somehow.

I'm now thinking about a school where at the start of the term every student is continually assigned to kill someone else enrolled in the school but they themselves have to survive until end of semester.

is this already what assassination classroom is?

The initial chapters don't make a great first impression so I'm not that surprised. This was actually my second time picking it up, although from memory I stopped the first time because I ran out of chapters rather than anything else.

Uhh. What are the odds. I find another manga, and it's happens to be another 4-koma.

Wakabayashi Toshiya’s 4-koma Collection information

This is more funny, more troll-y in fact. It's more punchy, and the situations more varied.
And from time to time, it switches around, and instead of troll you it's surprisingly tender.

Though I said it's a 4-koma, every joke is contained not in 4-panels, but in a chapter of around 9 or10 4-panels.
