This match is off to a good start. I would probably throw up if I saw that in real life. Poor Takumi, he doesn't have much of a chance anymore. I would love to be suprised though.

So...why wouldn't Subaru know who was in the match? If Subaru received his opponent's name a day in advance like Soma and Tadokoro then the information shouldn't be difficult to discern.

He would have known who his opponent was but not when the match was. They aren't told the order of the matches.

This series hits all the stuff I expect from music club stuff. Nothing really comes as unexpected. So it's basically alright because it's about music. Main difference is probably the 3 friends, although they also fill typical roles.

Sugawara version Synchronized attack was one of the best moments for him in these one hundred chapters. Im glad he's not decided to just dag around while being in the shadows of the other setter but to still find his own path and stay on pace with the other senpai.

Now we just need the only shadow type character, Yamaguchi, to do something of significance.

We do breed them here though, so its not like we're poaching them

Darn Takumi is slightly taller than I (but I didnt know that much shorter than soma, good height difference), though we've never really had a side by side.

Was hyped for it to finally happen, but I doubt he'd introduce this new Subaru here just to lose in his debut match, so maybe the fated match will be in the next arc :(

Only because I was asleep and missed out tossing stuff out but I will highly recommend Tabi ni Deyou, Horobiyuku Sekai no Hate Made.
