It's nearly 400 chapters in and Shin is only 4000 man commander, a quarter of the manga was spent on one battle, and none of the States have fallen. Just how long is this planning on being?

I've never read the original LN, I've only watched the anime, but I found this to be quite good. I liked it more than the anime anyways. Shizuo was beastly, Anri had her space and there was a bit of Izaya with his assholish, scummy plans.
Also, a specific scene in the volume made me think "there is definitely some sexual tension between Shizuo and Izaya", for better or worse.

Yeah, we'll know the outcome, but the way the author unfold the evenst in great detail is what makes the manga really interesting despite we'll know the fate of some characters and conclusion of major events like Ryofuei vs Sei.
I do not want see, I want do. That's the only benefit 3DPD has over waifus anyway.

So Freezing is at 23 volumes and Pastel at 37. Business as usual in the manga world.
It also looks like I only have 6 chapters of Titan to catch up on.
My manga list though is oozing with shounen and shoujo. Bleh. Looking for a batch read and would like additional recommendations, preferably current, to add.
